  1. We may not have a Dak extension as a basis for a Goff extension.
  2. Mike Tomlin managed with Antonio Brown for years so I think he can handle Wilson.
  3. False, Schumer hasn't protested a Jewish hospital or the 9/11 site.
  4. Yeah I don't think he survives. Especially with how there were rumors about he wanted to control narratives from leaking out and confiscating players phones. I don't blame him for bending the knee for Rodgers. That seems to be from the top down. Ownership made that decision and Saleh was set up to fail.
  5. Seven coaches were hired in 2021. Three still remain and Campbell is probably the safest. Saleh is hanging on by a thread and Sirianni has the seat warmers on.
  6. Looks like they reworked the last three years and added an extra year.
  7. I wonder if these are new contracts that replace their current contracts? I believe they both signed 6 year contracts. I'm wondering if they renegotiated *ducks* the last three years of their deals?
  8. I wish I had the skills to photoshop Biden onto Kerby Joseph in this gif.
  9. Hooker is and should be the backup. The only veteran would be to bring Sudfeld back as a practice squad guy. Sudfeld is familiar with the system and could be valuable in the QB room to break down film. That's why they always wanted to keep Blough around.
  10. Reports had the Lions connected to Rankins. This probably also means the Bengals are out on Reader.
  11. He saw the 49ers try to get players to renegotiate and changed his mind.
  12. Enough. We got to keep this thread clear for all those Lions signings.
  13. I came here to check if the Lions renegotiated another contract and it’s just bickering about the bickering.
  14. It's not like Goff, St Brown or Hutchinson have signed extensions yet. Cominsky taking a pay cut doesn't affect any of them since extensions wouldn't kick in until he's off the books.
  15. No I'm not saying that. Guaranteed money is the same but the Lions can add non guaranteed money and years to entice a player with a higher total value only to come back the next year and ask them to take a pay cut.
  16. He never really had one with the Rams either. Kupp, Cooks and Woods weren't exactly jump ball merchants either.
  17. Right and then in year two they can be like either take this reduced amount or try your hand at free agency. I don't particularly think it's a good way to do business.
  18. Surprised you have the nerve after how wrong you were on Goff.
  19. Like I said numerous times, they are establishing one and will start getting a reputation. That's four players in two years and three originally signed by Holmes.
  20. They add a 2nd year at a large rate to have the player sign in the first place and then use that in year two to renegotiate. Perhaps the Lions should get better at determining players who are worthy of two year contracts.
  21. Of course it applies to Harris. He signed a two year extension and was asked to renegotiate after one year, same as Cominsky. Okwara was a 3 year deal asked to renegotiate after 2 years. Vaitai was a Quinn signing so really not applicable. Surprisingly, they didn't appear to ask Walker to take a pay cut. That indicates to me they still wanted those other players around and didn't want Walker around regardless of salary.
  22. I keep ignoring them because they are too damn long. (I didn't read past the first sentence)
