Dems were literally crushed for that for 20 years and still are.

I think the issue is that there is a massive right wing propaganda apparatus that didn't exist in the 80's. The positive is that Democrats do well when Trump is not on the ballot. Trump impersonators have struggled. This is a cult of Trump. Once he's dead, I have no idea if anyone can fill those clown shoes.

My neighbors to my right are Ukrainian immigrants, neighbors on the left are Arab. Directly across the street are Arab, to the right of them are more Arabs and to the left is more Ukrainians. I have no idea any of their legal status, but I keep looking out my window to see if ICE is here. Living near immigrants has been great because they barely speak English, and I don't get bogged down having to exchange meaningless pleasantries with them.

I should also mention I was up north when doing Meals on Wheels in the heart of what is now trump country. Lots of seniors used Meals on Wheels there. A lot of them where off the beaten path. This effects red rural areas.

I think a trade for Hooker made sense if Johnson took the Raiders job. They have the worst QB situation in the league and don't have the resources to get one of the top QBs. Reunite him with Johnson and see what you have. Other than not, maybe the Cowboys since they traded a 4th for Lance for some reason.

Meals on Wheels is more than just hot meals. It was a chance for someone to visit seniors and check on their health and safety. There were occasions I had to have an ambulance come. I had one guy with a nasty infection in his eye, another who was having a pulmonary embolism, and another who was past the point of being able to live without supervision.

I delivered for Meals on Wheels circa 2010 when I was out of work. It was basically all old people who could barely make it to the door. It was also for some their only contact to the outside world. I had to do amateur health checks and report any health issue I may see.

Now leftists should be yelling about defund the police.
