    I mean, they were all 1 year deals. They were just filler. The one guy they signed to more than 1 year, Jamal Williams, was actually playing well. Goff wasn't a free agent signing. He was taken in order to get extra picks. He was basically a wild card. He was either a bridge QB or the future QB.

    I remember when Trump was in my neighborhood in Warren. I got to see MAGA up close and personal and it was terrifying. I even witnessed their attempted thuggery.

    I got death threats as a white kid if I showed up to Detroit public schools. It's the reason I went to Catholic schools.

    I just sent a strongly worded email to my CEO. I may be looking for one sooner rather than later.

    My CEO is quoting Salman Rushdie while talking about freedom against vaccine mandates. This is the same company than bans cigarettes and marijuana, both legal in Michigan.

    CEO of my company is now encouraging employees to vote out politicians who enact vaccine mandates. This is the same company that is completely woke and celebrating Diwali and encourages pronouns in their email signatures. I knew it was all an act.

    I'm not sure there is much to make of it. State elections are weird. Massachusetts, Maryland, and Vermont have Republican governors while Louisiana, Kansas and Kentucky have Democratic governors. Montana recently went 16 straight years with a Democratic governor. Democrats did well in California and the New Mexico special election so who knows.

    Chris Christie defeated the incumbent Democratic governor in 2009 after Obama won New Jersey by 16 points.

    A Democrat hasn't won re-election in New Jersey in 40 years. Murphy being re-elected was pretty unlikely if you follow historical trends.

    Stafford with one of the worst decisions I've seen him make.

    So Jacksonville beat Buffalo. Now have a 2 game lead on the Lions for the #1 pick. Miami is leading Houston which is good for Detroit because we will then want Houston to beat Jacksonville.
