Collins has been known in the past for lack of effort, and looking at some of those plays, it did look like a lack of effort. Campbell even said as much. 5th and 6th rounders can help build depth and this team needs depth. Tyler Crosby is a good example of a solid 5th round pick. The Lions can use more of those players along with getting some starters at the top of the draft. It seems like the Lions are always using free agency to add depth when they could be getting it through late round picks.

Dan Campbell was the hire I was least enthused about but the decision to hire Campbell has grown on me. Being that he isn't a play caller, the coordinators should have more autonomy and Campbell doesn't have a system. Even the Lions had a defensive coordinator, the system was Patricia's. The players were brought in to fit Patricia's system. Since Campbell doesn't have a system, I feel the Lions can build a system around the talent they have.

Kenny Golladay has been underwhelming in New York. He was also seen shouting at would appeared to be the QB Daniel Jones but Golladay says he was yelling at offensive coordinator Jason Garrett.

When he forces a ball downfield to a well covered receiver and throws a pick, it will be poor decision making. You have one 4th round receiver and a bunch of undrafted free agents and 6th and 7th round picks.
