  1. I don't know if this is directed at me, but I wasn't complaining about wearing the mask but instead I said "who wants to wear a mask 8+ hours a day" meaning people aren't going to adhere to a mask mandate. The real issue is that we have been doing this job for 2 years away from the office so there is absolutely no need to put everybody back in the office again with no vaccine mandates. That will just provide more idiots and family your wife will have to deal with.
  2. Rex Grossman: Jared Goff: The two were not the same and I don't get why people think they were.
  3. I want to be clear that I would wear a mask for the duration of time in office. My issue is that we have worked from home for 2 years without issue so it isn't necessary to force everybody into the office again.
  4. Prior to the pandemic, the company was working on renovating the office to be more open and "collaborative" which meant open desks in pods next to each other with no walls or any sort of personal space. Not only could we be forced to return, but we would be returning to a petri dish of disease. So far I cannot get anyone to answer what protocols will be in place. I do know there is no vaccine mandate. I do not believe there will be a mask mandate and frankly who wants to wear a mask 8+ hours? The CEO, meanwhile, is still working from home in Florida. He's near retirement and most people think he has just checked out. It would be comical if our safety wasn't at stake.
  5. I don't think anyone is saying he is the QB of the future. We aren't talking an undrafted free agent who had a couple good games. We're talking about a former number one pick who had a couple a pro bowl seasons and led a team to a Super Bowl. He's putting up better numbers at this point in his career than Stafford did. There is reason to be optimistic he can regain his old form. If not, he's in that Alex Smith mold where he's good enough to win to where you don't need to rush into another QB.
  6. For a QB whose biggest knock is the perception he can't beat good teams or win playoff games. Fact is Goff lead a team to the Super Bowl and played well doing it. Drafting a QB just to draft a QB is the worst thing the Lions can do. I mean, it wasn't that long ago when Goff was the next great thing.
  7. It's not like Goff QB'd a team to a Super Bowl or anything.
  8. Looks like my company is determined to return everyone to the office February 1st with no vaccine mandate or social distancing.
  9. I wonder if Mark Hackle will consider a run for the 10th? That's a competitive district and he has done well winning Macomb County.
  10. Not sure what this data is being pulled from, but interesting.
  11. Probably the only position on the team that is set is offensive tackle and center.
  12. Colorado really seems to attract the mass shooters don't they?
  13. I would say she is more of an activist vs an actual legislator. Her district has one of the highest crime rates in the country and she wanted to disband all police and release all prisoners and that's not exaggerating.
  14. Haley Stevens supposedly lives in Rochester Hills which would put her in my district. I'm not sure if she can win that district but it will be competitive.
  15. The map doesn't look good for Peter Meijer and I can see why Fred Upton retired.
  16. Mine is the Warren one that extends over to Rochester Hills. My current congressman is Andy Levin but I don't know about this new district. It's a close one but I think it would lean Republican.
  17. My new district could be a toss up but my estimation is it will lean Republican. Here's a link to the proposed maps: https://www.detroitnews.com/story/news/local/michigan/2021/12/28/michigan-redistricting-panel-maps-vote-congress-state-house-senate/9028496002/
  18. It's looking like the new proposed congressional map for Michigan is going to move me from a Democratic district to a Republican one. It's probably as good of time as any to move away.
  19. Speaking of Harbaugh, how much leash does John have? Does Baltimore look for a change?
  20. I'll add Kliff Kingsbury to this list. Another collapse cannot be helping.
  21. Speaking of old friends, here is Christian Wood taking out a fan.
  22. Don't the Giants have the Bears 1st rounder? I wouldn't hesitate to trade for their two 1st round picks. I have a feeling they would be more likely to offer a 1st plus 2nd or later pick.
