  1. Houston up 19-6. Lions can win this and still keep the #1 pick.
  2. I was surprised how bad some of Goff's passes looked. I wouldn't expect someone who was once a #1 pick to throw so many wobblers.
  3. Houston up 12-0. A win by Houston probably seals the #1 pick for the Lions.
  4. That pass to Reynolds was about a 7-8 yard gain which would have made a 3rd and short and opened up the playbook.
  5. I suppose but Democrats in Michigan at least made mail in voting easier before the pandemic hit. There is no both sides to this.
  6. Mail in voting always favored Republicans because more seniors and military used. The pandemic in 2020 caused more younger people and minorities to use it and suddenly it was a problem.
  7. Mail in voting always favored Republicans until 2020. Democrats never talked about election security in the same Republicans did. This isn't a both sides thing.
  8. Funny how Republicans committing all this election security fraud are the ones saying we need more election security.
  9. White kid killing white people seems like the exact sort of thing the NBA should be concerned about.
  10. Was there a curfew in place in Kenosha due to the protest? I feel like he violated something and just can't believe a member of the Trump Youth can walk around with a gun slung around their shoulder.
  11. In case you haven't noticed, the party is Trump. The Republicans best chance at winning a tough state is to suppress the vote and Youngkin will do it at the very first opportunity. Hopefully Virginia has exciting Democratic senators and Democrats can be bothered to vote.
  12. What political incentive is there for Youngkin to be a moderate? He can't run for re-election so he starts his term as a lame duck. While Texas is right of Virginia, it's moving to the left and Abbott is increasingly doubling down on Trumpism despite the state's shifting politics. He's supporting legislation that is completely unpopular with the electorate because he can. I think you're being naïve if you don't think Youngkin and the Virginia Republicans are going to make a power grab.
  13. Why did Abbott worry you and not Youngkin?
  14. Did Greg Abbott worry you at first?
  15. When I was 17 I was living in the city of Detroit and my parents would not want me walking around the streets of Detroit at night with a semi-automatic.
  16. Is a 17 year old really allowed to open carry in Wisconsin? Is it legal for the friend to lend a gun to a minor? I can't wrap my head around how it's legal for a 17 year old to just strut around with a semi-automatic rifle slung over his shoulder. It's like we are in Kabul or something.
  17. And yet, Democrats still need someone exciting. Here's a few things I can assure would not have happened if the less exciting Hillary Clinton would have won: Three less conservative supreme court justices, thousands fewer dead people from COVID, no insurrection, and no gutting of federal agencies. Maybe Trump wouldn't have as much influence. If he lost to an inferior candidate, do Republicans like Lindsey Graham turn Trump? Trump is just a carnival barker who lost to a weak candidate. Does McConnell try again to hold up a supreme court nomination? In the end, Hillary wasn't exciting.
