  1. The Bears also don't have the draft capital that the Lions have.
  2. I think the Lions are better than Jacksonville but it's certainly possible the Lions could have the #1 pick. I think they will end up in the 2-4 range. If it's going to cost 2 1sts to move up one spot, I don't do it.
  3. It's quite possible the Lions will have the #1 overall pick. If Philadelphia wants to throw a package like that at the Lions for Willis, I probably take it.
  4. With Goff under contract, They do have the luxury of drafting Willis and sitting him for a year. I imagine after the first half of the first game, people will be calling for Willis to play.
  5. I'm glad Holmes didn't panic and franchise or sign Golladay long term.
  6. Charles Harris is quietly having a nice season. I just realized he was taken right after Jarrad Davis. May be the new Okwara.
  7. Kansas City traded for Alex Smith after going 2-14 and drafting a LT #1 overall. They didn't panic and draft a QB in a draft that didn't have any good QBs.
  8. If it's clear he's the best player in the draft, than yes I draft a corner.
  9. I don't think they even need to go defense with their first pick. As long as it isn't a LT, I could with the best player available offense or defense.
  10. My dad had 5 DUI's mostly in the 70's. When he got his license suspended in Michigan, he went to Minnesota and used a relatives address and got a license in Minnesota and registered his car there. Back then they didn't have easily accessible databases they do now. He then lost the Minnesota license and went to Florida and got another one. After the 5th DUI and my brother being born, he decided to change his ways.
  11. Stafford turned out all right. I don't think they would have broken him. His former head coach is the offensive coordinator.
  12. And now my work email got subscribed to a marketing mailer trying to sell software similar to what these other people were trying to sell me. They want me to click on a link to unsubscribe and I don't click on links in emails. This is worse than Facebook.
  13. It seems that these days one needs a Linkedin profile if they want to switch employers and/or look for new jobs so I created one. Of course it contains my name and company name. Our email address is Firstname.lastname@company.com. Not hard to figure out. A couple people have figured this out and am getting email solicitations trying to sell my company business software. Now, they upped their game to calling. Not hard to figure out. Just call the corporate number and get to the directory and say my name. It's fine to try to solicit through the Linkedin app, but stalking me at work for sales is another thing.
  14. I would love to see Quinn and Patricia's emails.
  15. Keyshawn is not a fan.
  16. I'm not too disappointed by the Ragnow injury. This is a lost season. We know what Ragnow is. The most devastating injury is the Okudah injury. He was the one defensive player with upside and his career is likely done.
  17. If Youngkin wins and rolls back all the progress Virginia has made, I'm sure the progressives will be out in pink hats ready to take down a statue.
  18. How come no one is talking about how the polls in California were off? Where are the coffee shop interviews with "shy" Newsom supporters?
  19. The funny part is the internal survey done by the company shows overwhelming support for a mandate. We have to cater to some small minority that doesn't want their feelings hurt.
  20. Sounds like my company isn't going to mandate vaccines. CEO said he didn't want the people who do not get vaccinated to get upset abut possibly losing their job. Claims other companies who have mandated vaccines have privately regretted it. This company donates to the campaigns of Kelly Loeffler so I'm not surprised.
  21. I was surprised when I read the Raiders have only 1 winning season since they made the Super Bowl in 2003. That's even worse than the Lions. Wasn't part of Gruden's deal that he got an ownership stake in the team? I wonder how that will play out.
  22. I'm old enough to remember the great Ebola outbreak where Trump wanted Obama to resign after two people died. I also remember the spectacle Republicans such as Chris Christie put on when they quarantined that woman at the airport.
