Drury would be an acceptable replacement for Candelario

Please tell me you trashed Shep?!?
I did.
I neglected to mention that among the questions about the experience of Comerica Park, there was nothing in the survey suggesting moving the fences. There were questions about music, the video board, and other activities in the park. There was also a question that said something like, what other parks have you visited and what did you like best about your favorite one.
-
i got a sort of long survey from the tigers today, asking about all kinds of topics. it asked what i thought about the radio and tv broadcasts, the in-park experience, food, parking, and the district detroit. one of the questions was something like, what would make you come to more games? one response (chosen by yours truly) was a winning team.

Which podcast is this, if anybody doesn't mind saying? I've tried a few. I still listen to the Stavenhagen one. Others that I know of either don't exist anymore or aren't worth the bother

They're taking a pitcher for the 'pen because they're going to trade all the good pitchers out of the 'pen for infielders that can't hit or field, except that the team we have today is the team we'll have all of next season

Passan writes that Turner has family connections in the area and that was a factor in him choosing Philly

high K RH OF released by Ariz after 75 ABs
Imagine if the Tigers could have paired this guy with Steele, for an OF with Stone and Steele. There's gotta be another guy who would fit in.

it struck me that it was bardar, and i thought
He hit the A right out of it
There's no A in hitting
He awarded an A to somebody
I can go on

Victor Reyes outrighted, too

verlander is chasing 300 and needs to be on a good team. i wish he were coming back but i don't think its happening.
ps: i understand the sarcasm; my response it what i really think tho. maybe the dodgers sign him
-
you know, i saw him listed as of-1b-3b, but drilling down i see that he mostly played 3b. so maybe not. though he might still be a rebound candidate
-
as far as a RH hitting OF goes, i wonder if they would kick the tires on Miguel Sano. When I hear 'calculated risk,' that seems to me to mean somebody who might be a bounceback candidate and i think he fits that description.
