i'm in the lawsuit business. i'm pretty jaded and cynical. its always interesting to me to see the reaction of people to lawsuits and who they choose to believe (and how much money they give people). this has nothing to do with the truth or justice or what actually happened. that's what the criminal case was for (the ones where not even a grand jury would bring charges). this is about money and publicity for tony buzzbee.

the white sox are as injured as us. and they also have a marquee player who is stinking up the joint (moncada). unlike javy, the scuttlebutt on moncada is that he just doesnt care. rumors all over the place of him partying all night while telling the team he cant play and can only pinch hit. other rumors that he never recovered from covid. either way, he's not playing. and when he did play, he was terrible.

other than the top line, edmonton cant hang with the avs. so they try to beat them up and take them out of their game. that's the charitable version. it may well have been the oilers getting frustrated that they couldnt hang.
