    Well maybe I'm bad luck I have barely been paying attention with work. Nice to see Zadina score an authoritative goal and not just a tap in or something. It wasn't difficult because of the nice play by Vrana but hopefully seeing the puck go in like that boosts his confidence a bit.

    Blashill was listed on a Canadian broadcast graphic with other coaches on the last year of the contract or an interim coach, so the rumor it was a one year deal or one year deal + club option must be true. It seems like a ton of teams are going to be searching for a coach this offseason.

    Looks like the Bruins will start the rookie Swayman against the Wings on a back to back, I would like to congratulate him on his shutout.

    Stutzle with the absolutely awful defensive play on Rasmussen's goal there lol Blashill would have benched him for two months if he dared poke and pray on the Wings, offensive skill be damned.

    Walman seems like he's not any worse than the other bottom pair defensemen the Wings have tried this season, and he has some pluses. I've been pleasantly surprised with him....but maybe I just have a low bar at this point.

    Wow DeKeyser up the gut to Hirose who slides it to Rasmussen...who snipes it home to tie the game. Even Rasmussen looked surprised it went in.

    Hirose - Rasmussen - Zadina (along with Walman and Lindstrom) just had a nice shift with a bunch of offensive zone pressure and good cycling I might die of shock

    Oh my bad I read way into that thinking you mean he had his eye on Cholowski.

    I feel like we more traded out of that pick to get Datsyuk's contract off the books so they could take a run at Stamkos, not so that he could drop down for Cholowski. Not that it is any better (even if I don't think Chychrun is a stud - he's at least in the NHL and has stretches of putting up points) but I don't think it was ever done with Cholowski in mind unless I missed something.

    I thought Walman looked alright, a few positioning / defensive lapses but he seems to move pretty well. His dad laughing at him getting a stick to the cup was hilarious.
