I dropped by a a local farm stand today stand to get fruit and vegetables and my favorite buttermilk biscuits for the next few days. As I was walking around, I heard the cashier telling somebody to have a good day. The man responded by saying "I will now that Biden is no longer President. We can all have fun now." The cashier did not respond to him, so he looked back at me probably hoping I would agree with him. I also gave him no response. What can you say to someone like that? I thought it was sad that whether or not somebody had a good day depended on who the President was.

I agree he was shallow and formulaic. It's almost like he was a parody of conservative views. He simply wasn't deserving of all the attention he got.

They are already targeting these groups pretty intentionally. They are aren't rounding us up, but rather trying to attack our credibility and drain our resources.

I would guess that male professional sports organizations in general tend to have a lot of "alpha males" that that don't respect women very much.

As an adult, I have always assumed that MLB players and professional athletes are generally people with whom whom I wouldn't want to hang out. At the very least, I have always figured many if not most of them to be egotistical and entitled. So, I don't cringe at the thoughts of their political leanings. They are great entertainers.

Some have said the same about the Trump assassination attempt. That certainly looked staged. I don't believe it, but I did think about it which is something I've never done before with any President.

It was very easy to make the address nonpolitical. Every other President, regardless of party, has known how to do that in a time of tragedy.

I have seen fans complaining that the Tigers don't have a real chance in the playoffs because of their starters, but here they are with their #2 and #3 starters going and they are putting on a show against a playoff caliber team that was red hot. That's baseball. If things go well, they can succeed in the playoffs like any other team.
