I'm okay with the 3rd down run when it works.

The defensive ineptitude is as much on Holmes as it is on Glenn. He gave him someone coming off an ACL tear as his CB2 and completely neglected the other side of the defensive line from Hutch. Even when injuries happened, he stood pat at the deadline. We had needs everyone could see and we chose not to address them.

Make sure to let him crawl all over the top of the pile guys.

I think Florida State would have been very dangerous. They would have had a month to prepare for a game with nothing to lose, like TCU was last year. Guess we'll never know.

I honestly think we would have matched up pretty poorly against Florida State. Their defensive line might be the best in the country and we saw what Iowa did against Michigan's new offensive line. While Alabama is obviously a very good team, I think they are more balanced in a way that Michigan will be able to combat.
