  1. That entire sequence was one of the more outrageous sequences I’ve seen. And I’ve seen a LOT of highway robbery against the Lions. I did notice a play clock error, because it reset to 40 inexplicably while the Seahawks approached the line. You’re living in another reality though if you say that it affected the play at all.
  2. There was NOT a whistle before that play. NOTHING.
  3. Crowd is really getting into it for the first time today
  4. Ushers are currently walking up and down aisles recruiting for Wide Receivers.
  5. Defense should just wave the white flag and beg for mercy at this point
  6. He’s out here at halftime nailing extra points when it doesn’t matter. So we’ve got that going.
  7. For what it’s worth (as the soon to be unemployed kicker misses another free point), this is a game we’d have lost by 40 last year. There is improvement out there. Just squint your eyes and turn your head.
  8. I promise they looked far worse many times in the Patricia era. I am pissed too, but I still have flashbacks of Fatty Matty’s defensive genius.
  9. This is a game we will need to score 40+ points to win, and you don’t do that with that BS
  10. I haven’t seen our defense so completely lost since the Eagles and Bengals games last year.
  11. Let’s just ditch the kicker now and go for two from here out. Probably same probability of making it.
  12. When I saw that flag I thought for sure it would be OPI based on how wide open he was.
  13. The Aaron Glenn magic may be wearing off. That drive was all tape for the Seahawks. Bootleg bootleg bootleg.
  14. Lions are 0-4 on the coin flip this year. One way to avoid anti-Campbell hate is to not allow yourself the choice.
  15. “Doing well” in that position there means a lot more than winning games, but winning games does mean something, and he’s not doing it. The pure sports fans of the area and alumni base wanted him gone last year. Administration adores Shaw (he excels at everything about the job that isn’t winning games), and if you think NIL is behind at Michigan, it’s pre-historic at Stanford, so there is that explanation (though whose fault it is for being so behind is more nuanced and Shaw is definitely not blameless). I think it’s likely they “promote” him this offseason to a cushy Athletic Department gig and find someone who they think can win games for the sideline.
  16. And Missouri Missouried. Managing to pull defeat from the jaws of victory in a way that would make the Lions proud.
  17. Georgia on upset alert against Missouri midway through the 4th quarter.
  18. I would still probably put money on Michigan or Ohio State -10
  19. This game may be the 2022 Toilet Bowl. No playmakers left on offense for Detroit, and Seattle when healthy is probably a bottom three team in the league. I’ll say Detroit 27 Seattle 26 in a game no one will ultimately deserve to win.
  20. Sums it up…
  21. 10 point lead on Iowa? Time to take care of the football and run out the clock.
