  1. Amani have a middling performance thus far.
  2. If I were Minny, I wouldn’t be passing the ball again until the Lions prove they can stop the run.
  3. I don’t think I’ve ever had full faith and confidence in the Lions offense like this. Massive credit to Ben Johnson, Dan Campbell, and Brad Holmes for the assembly of this offensive squad. Truly impressive.
  4. Who needs a kicker when you’ve got a Goff?
  5. Really good play all on that. Could have gone three ways.
  6. I would have liked to see more urgency out of the offense after that spot. Get it snapped and run the ball up the middle. Don’t let them throw the flag if you can help it.
  7. He looked a half yard short live but they stray away from overturning spots (at least when it’s us………)
  8. Cousins probably should have been called for intentional grounding on that. He was squarely in the pocket and he threw that five yards onto the sideline. Good coverage though and I’ll take the ball no matter how it comes.
  9. You had me searching Twitter for an injury. Tell your internet to post faster. 😂
  10. Anything you can do we can do better…. We can do anything better than you.
  11. Cut Seibert Fire Campbell All the overreactions.
  12. 95,000,000 reasons it could be worse.
  13. The Minnesota secondary minus Harrison Smith is a liability that I hope Goff will be able to pick apart. I have faith that St Brown/Hockenson/Chark will get open, if he can hit them in stride we will gash them more than once. It will likely be Josh Metellus’ first start. 1st Round Rookie Lewis Cine (Minny’s end of the JaMo trade) is said to be splitting time with him. He only played one snap last week in his NFL debut.
  14. Prediction time. Detroit 34 Minnesota 30 I think Detroit’s offense continues what they’ve started. They’ll eventually be stymied this year I’m sure, but I don’t think it will be by Minnesota. The defense shows flashes again, but ultimately does just enough to not lose the game. MCDC gets his first road victory.
  15. Have to think this was supposed to be Paschal. Hopefully we see him this year.
  16. Have to think we are trending to no Jackson but yes Swift and Ragnow. Hopefully Hutch can get out there tomorrow.
  17. Between ASB and Rodrigo, you have to tip your cap to Brad Holmes so far. Even if Levi and/or an early round pick this year turns out to be a bust, you can’t deny he and his team have a knack for finding the diamonds of day three.
  18. If ASB can do what he’s doing through his career, his size won’t matter one bit. There are rules, and then there are freaky athletes that just plain defy them. I’m not ready to declare him the latter quite yet, but he’s not exactly a secret at this point, and he’s still driving defenses crazy.
  19. Dan Miller deserves a winning product as much as any of us. He’s been there through it all. Cool to see behind the scenes.
  20. I don't know if we need Goff to connect on 40+ yard passes to be successful. It would certainly help... If they successfully bottle up the run (which Washington tried to do) or start doubling ASB, and we can consistently connect on 10-15 yard patterns (which is something we saw)... that's still a recipe for success. So long as Goff can maintain a high level of accuracy with those throws, we'll be okay. The offense (to this point) has been too good to neuter by way of taking away a single element.
  21. *saves quote to take out of context in a later game thread.
  22. He was held to 6/48 against the Eagles. Can Okudah Island emerge? I think Okudah can rise to the challenge, but he might get gashed a couple of times.
  23. It's a big game in the context of what's to come. Taking the season in quarters, a win would almost guarantee a winning first quarter (five games into the bye week), because I think at least one of Seattle and New England is a win. Minnesota is in an interesting spot, wedged between a short week from MNF and a trip to London. I think it should be a good game.
  24. I tried something new with the pictures so that hopefully they haven't all vanished by mid-week. Lions by a billion.
