    This is not finalized yet, it takes about a day to cross all the t's and dot all the i's, but if it stands it will indeed be the worst performance in the 2024 postseason to date, and one of the worst postseason performances in MLB history. Skubal recorded four strikes on two of his eight strikeouts, and five strikes on one of them.

    Trying to explain to my non-sports girlfriend why I needed to listen to this was a challenge. ”The Tigers - well all sports teams - have their own guy who calls all the games on the radio, and when there is a big play I like to hear how they call it…….. I know it makes no sense but I PROMISE if you ask any sports person they’ll get it.”

    Skubal had a strikeout with five recorded strikes on the K Zone earlier, all five pitches were above the last pitch of the game.

    Plate umpire has been BAD tonight.

    There’s just no way an umpire can see a ball BOUNCE and accurately judge it hit the flattened leather of the glove. He guessed, and whatever he guessed wasn’t getting overturned.
