  1. On 3rd & 14 from inside the 25, Raheem Morris and Zac Robinson opt for a draw play to get a shorter field goal for Koo.
  2. KOC is wasting a timeout/challenge on a textbook simultaneous possession.
  3. Kind of crazy that this is a projected wildcard matchup right now.
  4. And then wimp out with a chip shot. So, so bad.
  5. An interior defensive lineman (#93) slipped on his initial charge, the interior offensive lineman fell on top of him, and they called a defensive hold on #93. While if #93 did grab and pull the lineman down so that someone behind him could rush the gap he created, it would be a good call, that's not at all what happened. A truly dreadful call that can have game altering consequences.
  6. Four-point swing from the phantom defensive holding call on a field goal. And if they called it on 93 as just announced, what an awful call.
  7. That's a potentially game changing penalty for them to not even announce an offending player.
  8. I think that ball is out. But naturally, I'm wrong.
  9. The tiers in the NFL have never been more clear watching this game. For being 6-6, this Falcons team looks bad compared to the Lions and Packers.
  10. There have been multiple punts on 4th and short in this game. A Campbell-led team converts at least one of those into points.
  11. I wouldn't be surprised if they do, as we get nearer the playoffs. I expect a lot of their load management strategies will be adjusted as individual wins matter more than a long-term vision does.
  12. These teams are both just a clear step behind the elite company of the NFL.
  13. It wouldn't surprise me if the Packers beat the Vikings by 10+ in their rematch.
  14. Looking ahead, it might be nice if the Bears could beat the 49ers. The Niners may be shutting their hurt playmakers down for the year if they are 6-9 or 5-10 entering the Monday Night game against us. If they're 8-7 though, they'll be hot at the right time and right in the thick of the playoff hunt in the West.
  15. I don't expect Carolina to beat Philly, but I do think an Atlanta team that is fighting for its playoff lives can beat a Minnesota team that has been playing with fire the last few weeks.
  16. In the first year with no PAC-12, two of their former members are going to win their new conference championships. Good going Larry Scott & George Kliavkoff.
  17. He reminds me a lot of watching Bryce Love's junior season at Stanford. He is going to end up with 100+ more carries than Love had that year, but watching the games, you just knew that he was going to pop at least one at some point. And he's probably also going to finish 2nd in Heisman voting to a flashier player.
  18. When the Lions made the stop with more than 3 minutes left, I was unreasonably confident that they would win this game. It's a new era of Lions football, and they are simply built to have a nice and easy three-minute game winning drive.
  19. The Lions are playing the Packers and Vikings a combined four times, compared to the Eagles having the Cowboys and Giants in their division. Without doing any research, I'd be pretty surprised if the Eagles strength of victory is in the same ballpark as the Lions.
  20. Video doesn't do it justice. The top came off the place. IMG_8892 3.mp4
  21. General note, the Bills GDT will be posted on Sunday after they play the Rams.
  22. Campbell has said that they tend to give out more game balls after watching film. I would expect O'Connor to get one in the film room.
  23. Yeah, they're not wrong. If the Packers played a perfect game, they win the game. The fumble certainly comes to mind. But of course, it's not like the Lions played perfect. They gave up 14 points in less than 4 minutes in one stretch. The Lions are the clearly better team, and will win more often than not when these two teams play.
  24. The comedic timing of the camera pan to Skipper keeled over is perfect.
