They showed MCDC admonishing Hock after the pick. Hock put his head down as if he knew it was on him. And there have been a few other plays where it seemed like guys were running the wrong routes. I wonder if MCDC is calling plays on this drive.

Defense about as expected. Offense way worse than expected. Jalen Hurts will not make it through the season.

Great idea. I wonder if Brad Holmes has thought of it. Or maybe it is just very, very, very hard to find someone who has all of the skills required in an NFL QB, so the best you can do when you are picking through the list after the top 70 or so prospects have been spoken for us to pick a guy with the one irreplaceable skill.

What’s messed up? Are you going to stop watching? Is anyone else? Star player was not convicted of any crimes but was suspended for 2/3 of the season and fined $5 million. Sure maybe he should have had his dick cut off, and maybe one day we will live in that utopia where we can get charged but not convicted of crimes, and get our dicks cut off anyway. But he still got a pretty big punishment without a criminal conviction. Why was he not suspended longer or fined more? NFLPA CBA. Who is blaming this on the NFLPA rather than the NFL? As far as I can tell, nobody.

Holmes seems to know that NFL teams pass 60% of the time and run 40% of the time.

The team should absolutely not trade for Roquan Smith. They need to save all of their draft assets for the possibility of trading up for a QB in one of the next two drafts. In the meantime they will have to hope to hold the lead late into some games and let Hutchinson ice a game or two with a strip sack, or churn out a few late first downs behind a punishing offensive line.
