Will probably never get to HOF, but a local legend! Mickey had a career the vast majority of players wish they could replicate. Hell of a Tiger career, hero of ’68 WS and lived locally, investing in the community. God Bless #29, Mickey Lolich.
My opinion, Belichick was a tool so my memory seems to say. I recall clips of him being an ass in responding to questions, short answers laced with what looked like a 'tough guy, that's a stupid question' attitude. This is his punishment and people are using Brady's GOAT status as their crutch for minimizing Belichick's success.
It’s easy to hindsight at this point. And I can’t say I’ve expressed your thoughts here before before, but that’s the Baker Mayfield I’ve always seen when the Lions have played them these past few years. Overthrowing guys, making mistakes at the worst times, which is why I never understood the MVP talk earlier.
I was very patient with Davenport for a long time, bad luck, talented guy was my thinking. I was full on wrong. I think so much was dependent on him being BOTH effective and present. Those two words are incompatible in the world of Marcus Davenport. He was a bad decision.
I’m more thinking weeks, not the whole year. But regardless, glad he’s back!
Add…As you said maybe the plan all along, and all this other OL issues just happened. Hard to wait for LA…game-wish sooner.
