  1. Did anyone else se the Phil. war room? The Stepford Eagles!
  2. In two years it will be 4 and 150 as the new bar. And the cap will rise again and again...give it a few ASB will be a bargain...😄
  3. AND...I wouldn't be surprised if D. Smith just called his agent..."did you see that?" My gut tells me Smith does not complete that deal if he stays healthy.
  4. Here's one for your list...courtesy of Wikipedia...what a write up...🤣 Lynn Ray Boden (born June 5, 1953) is an American former professional football player who was an offensive guard for five seasons in the National Football League (NFL) with the Detroit Lions (1975–1978) and the Chicago Bears (1979).[1] He played college football at South Dakota State University.[2] He was selected in the first round of the 1975 NFL draft with the 13th overall pick by Detroit.[3] He has 2 children, Eric and Molly. His favorite restaurant is Shucks.
  5. For sure Barry. Then I'd never be able to argue anyone of these is more deserving, of #2-3, Karras, Calvin, Barney, Joe Schmidt, Lane. And probably forgot someone...
  6. I like that Holmes has already said that he might need to apologize if he trades out of rd. 1. Shows some great awareness and understanding of the fan point of view.
  7. Like the blue and white versions. The black is better than I expected, but still a distant 3rd. I do like the matte finish on the blue helmet, glad the didn’t go chrome at all.
  8. I wonder how much of SF offer is motivated by Wright himself vs. knowledge of the Lions. SF anticipating another possible playoff match?
  9. I was surprised at his stats. In the 6 years of play between '96-'01 he had 68 sacks. That's top notch.
  10. without the black…sure 😉! Maybe on a sleeve?
  11. Yes, this is what I was referring to.
  12. Looks good if so, as best I can try to visualize it with the helmet and pants combinations. Back to traditionally styled numbers and outlines. What I hope is they don't make a huge mess by infusing black...felt forced and I never liked it.
  13. However they navigate this, I really hope this does not lead to 'fake injury' and the said injured player returns next play. This may be extreme thinking...unfortunately my head goes to soccer/LeBron type antics to get calls. Hope not!
  14. Only speculation I have is grab the waist, hold on and slide down to the legs, getting dragged a few more yards in the process, if the ball carrier does not blow open the hold and keep running. The other thing I look forward to is the offensive player jumping in up and throwing his imaginary flag at each and every opportunity.
  15. The longer this plays out the more it has the potential to get wild (more than it already is). My mind can go to lots places trying to come up with possible explanations. But, I heard someone say, usually the simplest one is the right one.
  16. While we can not guarantee anything from our seats, but as black as this sounds...unless he is dead...there's no way he does not know.
  17. I recall similar, AND I heard that DC and BH are more comfortable with prognosis, as his treatment/s have all been in-house.
  18. I saw an episode of Peyton's Places where they highlighted RW and his early career choice between bball and fball. He seemed odd in it. I know confidence is needed as and NFL QB but he seemed to have excess.
  19. Someone will...ATL, NE just a couple that come to mind.
  20. I think the philosophy is to not commit long term to FA's, unless they are our own. I heard DC mention knowing his coaches and players and the importance of that knowledge as an assurance of the future...see JRM, last years signing of Anzalone...I expect same for St. Brown, Hutch, Sewell, Goff and Decker. Outside guys will be short term deals, which I think usually means 'B' level. If they could get Jones short term, I think they take a run at it, I just think he's got eyes for his life payday. With all of that...CGJ took a 1y so what the crap do I know.
  21. This sounds like good news for all teams ability to buy and especially good for the players...we are going to see some wild high contracts.
  22. Not that I can recall. Lots of fire and turned over cars, but nothing like that.
  23. I haven't given the Pistons any significant attention for years, and I am only left to wonder WTF? So many deals resulting in what appears to be absolutely nothing.
