  1. Eccentricity like that might earn you fame with the fans. You’d have a Tshirt and a nickname like the eat em tigers guy.
  2. I was at this game. Second row right by 1st base. Witnessed a couple of drunk douchebags over-heckle Norby with a bunch of profanity (within close earshot of a bunch of kids). They were asked to stop by security and they were keeping a close eye on them. The whole section was going to cheer if they got booted. All in all, despite these DBs proving the “instant a-hole, just add alcohol” saying, it was a nice win on a beautiful day and it was a Bert VI.
  3. Glen Campbell was a phenomenal guitar player.
  4. Willy Nelson: he’s kinda the first of the Mohicans, right? - Jiminy Glick.
  5. If the link doesn’t work, go to web.archive.org and type “motowntigers.com” into the search engine.
  6. Give this a shot: https://web.archive.org/web/20060615000000*/Motowntigers.com
  7. I did some math and found that the band I have listened to the most in my life is Cheap Trick. Rick is my favorite guitarist, Bun E is my favorite drummer, Robin my favorite vocalist and Tom is tied with Gary from Rush as my favorite bassist. Once I figured all that out, I realized that they are my favorite band. I’ll see them at every opportunity. I know all the songs. I even play the air drums to “Ain’t That A Shame”. I do that part so well that a security guard at a recent show took notice and picked up a guitar pick from the ground and specifically handed it to me. 😆
  8. Yeah, my list of bands that I’d pay to see (or more accurately- leave my house to endure the public) is dwindling. Cheap Trick and Megadeth are really it. I am going to see Geoff Tate because he’s performing Mindcrime in its entirety for the last time (allegedly). I don’t want to give that douchebag my money but, I so love that album, I’ll plug my nose.
  9. I’m no casual fan and I love all things Bennetti. Did he really double the fan base? Unprovable but I seriously doubt it. That said, I think his videos to promote understanding of CP certainly helped win him favor and make some casual fans tune in to root for him. I do side with the opinion that winning brought the vast majority of the fan base back.
  10. Imagine the gnashing of teeth if the cardinals miss the playoffs by one win.
  11. I really liked the ending of company retreat. I got a few laughs throughout the series but the ending got me in the feels.
  12. Went out for breakfast this morning and it cost $6.66.
  13. Probably not in anyone’s wheelhouse, but this is the most recent song I’ve finished recording. https://youtu.be/rZRvSw9togo?si=ctLJAdlOejhxNaKd
  14. Maggs yes: for the homer alone. Plus there was the Weaver event and the time when he had Leyland cracking up because, as Maggs was on first, someone kept fouling off pitches and Maggs was getting annoyed at having to keep going back to the base.
  15. Started watching “Jury Duty: Company Retreat”. The actors aren’t as engaging as the first season and some of the pranks are telegraphed but the guy who is the “target” is all in and I love his enthusiasm. I am enjoying it but I’m watching it through Jury Duty glasses so I’m a bit jaded.
  16. Pardon my ignorance, what did Nicholas Castellanos do to fall out of favor in Philadelphia?
  17. Bert Kreischer is an annoying human being.
  18. Speaking of my friend Rod Allen: https://awfulannouncing.com/mlb/rod-allen-reportedly-will-no-longer-be-in-marlins-tv-booth.html
