  1. Like MCS, I have an uneasy feeling today. For me it's based on not only how distracted this team might be, but how they've played as of late. I'm worried about JJ and their downfield passing attack given that they just haven't gone deep or stretched the field most recently. I worry about JJ's deep ball accuracy today as well. I'd also like to see more from Donavan Edwards as well to complement Corum. We need him to come alive to help give us the ability to wear them down on the ground. That's been where we've had so much success the past two years and I hope that doesn't change today for us.
  2. Honest question. We used to dog out Matt Patricia and his DCs for their low blitz rate, only rushing 3 or 4 so many times it got comical, pass rush win rate, the lack of total team sacks, the lack of QB pressures and hurries, etc. Fans here on this board and across the Lions universe were rightfully harsh on Patricia for his piss poor, ineffective pass rush. So why do Dan Campbell and Aaron Glenn get a pass for their defensive coaching and schemes when their blitzing and ability to get at the QB is nearly as bad? Sure, they're 8-3 and Patricia could only dream to have that type of record. But when you compare the raw stats, our current defense under Glenn is barely better in this category than it was under the previous regime of Poncho Villa.
  3. At that point we're having a regime change conversation, so I certainly hope it isn't that type of free fall.
  4. This team having ZERO pass rush caught up to them yet again. Their blitzes, when they bother sending more than four, never get home. Their defensive line, outside of Hutch, gets no pressure on the opposing QB. They are in the bottom 10 in blitz rate, sacks, hurries, pressures. Their secondary was thin already and lacked top end talent, but this front 4 does then no favors. This is a disaster and the problems will keep mounting. The smartest guys in the room though, Brad Holmes, Dan Campbell, and Aaron Glenn apparently decided they were set on talent with who they had on the defensive side of the ball. No need to upgrade any personnel though.
  5. HAHAHAHAHA! Get this bum Glenn off the sidelines.
  6. That third down play call was terrible. Calling a bubble screen, below the marker was a poor call IMO.
  7. Terrible play call on third and five.
  8. Did the NFL change the rules regarding throwing the ball beyond ten yards?
  9. What happened to our usually dominate offensive line?
  10. Oh no doubt man. If we play like this on the road against Chicago and Fields, Dallas and Prescott, Minnesota and Dobbs, New Orleans and Carr, we're in real trouble and risk going 0-4.
  11. What's the deepest past we've attempted today?
  12. Me neither. But I never expected back-to-back-to-back weeks where they look as illprepared and flat as this.
  13. Where's Levi? Where's Josh Paschal? Where's Iffy Melifonwu? Where's Brodric Martin?
  14. You can't expect what happened last week to keep on happening. Their piss poor play, lack of preparedness, and coaching decisions have caught up with them this week.
  15. Absolutely 💯 His defense hasn't gotten a consistent stop nearly all day. To put them in such a short field situation, with how they've been playing, was an bad decision on his part. Really, it was downright dumb.
  16. Campbell's idiotic decision proved costly there.
  17. Stick a fork in this turkey, we're done.
  18. They didn't need to fake it there, not with how bad this defense has played today. Dumb call by Campbell.
