I see no reason why Sheila can't hire her own private investigator and retain legal counsel to investigate the actions of Brad Allen and ensure he's not another Tim Donaghy. It would be a great way to publicly embarrass and humiliate Goodell and the league by having one of your own franchises and ownership groups launching a public investigation into the leagues handling of the situation and into the referee who made the call.

Besides Jason's album Weathervanes, Gabe Lee had my favorite album of 2023 with Drink the River. Superior songwriting from Gabe Lee compared to almost anything out there in music in general, but certainly compared to the booty-pop and bro-country that's out there in mainstream country. My favorite songs from Gabe Lee's Drink the River album are the title track Drink the River, Lidocaine, Even Jesus Got the Blues, and my personal favorite, The Wild.

If Harbaugh goes to the Commanders with Mayhew still as their GM he's asking to fail then. No coach could be successful with someone who is so subpar at talent acquisition and drafting as Mayhew is. I wouldn't touch the Washington job unless Mayhew was gone. I think San Diego, readymade with a really good starting QB in Herbert, would be the best place for Harbaugh next season.

Miami firing another black coach after a successful season and so soon after firing Brian Flores would be a bad look on their part.

I still want Brad Allen to be formally investigated by the league. Again, I'm not saying he's another Tim Donaghy, but I want the league to officially prove that to me.

I am still amazed that with all the mistake our special teams made and with how subpar I thought JJ looked, we still came out the winner. That game ball from last night belongs to the defense and the defense alone. 6 sacks, 10 tackles for loss, and a ton of pressure got Michigan this win and kept Alabama and Milroe down the entire game.

JJ and the offensive line need to be better than they were yesterday. Our special teams can't make the kinds of mistakes they did yesterday either. If they are, we give ourselves a chance to win this. I think Michigan's defense is clearly good enough to stop this game from being a track meet type of game, where the first to 50 wins it, like the TCU game was last year. So it is incumbent upon the offense and special teams to be better and give us the chance to win it.

I hope JJ is practicing basic passing drills.

It won't matter if their offense can't find more consistency next week, JJ especially. You can't expect your defense to bail you out like this every week, especially against teams of this caliber.
