I still like Saddiq's future as a wing who can space the floor but he is so far out of his skill level when he puts the ball on the floor. And there are times where he passes up open threes. I know he is having a bad shooting year but he needs to shoot himself out of it to add value to this team. On cue, he passes up an open three to take a harder, off balance, open three. It's just nuts.

I'm not sure this team can even get to 15 wins. It's going to take hot shooting nights to get it done. We are just bad at every position.

Killian Hayes has basically been non-existent lately. Might help to win a few games to get another decent player on the wing with Cade and Bey.

I am really not a believer in Casey so I guess the one good thing that could come out of this season is him getting fired.

Even though we are actually having a pretty good shooting tonight, I am still disgusted about what I see from our offense. I just don't think Casey knows how to coach offense. Lucky he had Lowry in Toronto.

It's a bit discouraging that we were supposed to be up and coming and we are now 4-19. Every time we have a lead in the second half, you just know we will eventually blow it.

Nice to see Cade shooting better. Looks to me like his release has gotten a little quicker and more compact as well. Still has to cut back on the careless turnovers.

Cade needs to play but it's hard to say we are better with him on the court right now. The three point shooting is killing us. Long term, he needs to be around a 40% three point shooter to really reach his ceiling. I am encouraged overall though. His makeup is outstanding and you can see why scouts have been raving about this since high school. He is pass first, very unselfish, always plays hard, and is a team first guy that naturally leads others. From a defensive perspective, I do think he is a better fit guarding forwards who are taller and not as quick. Trying to guard wings who are quicker is not a great matchup for him. And this is only going to get accentuated more as he adds much needed strength.

True. Triple Doubles can be very overrated and deceiving.

How bout Frank Jackson blocking Westbrook? He came to play tonight.

You knew Westbrook was extra motivated when Lebron went out.

Nice to see Diallo and Frank Jackson have good games on the same night. I do like them both a lot more than Josh Jackson and I think we benefit with no Killian giving those guys more minutes on the court

10 assists for Cade. The Pistons are taking a ridiculous number of threes.

I hope they have a lot of security in the locker room. Worried Beef Stew is still going to go after Lebron. Never seen somebody so hot.

I don't know what the record is for lowest three point percentage on a high volume but it feels like Cade may challenge it this year.

At least Cade is leaving a positive impression on this 4th quarter.

I guess I should say something nice about Killian given he is actually shooting it well tonight. This will probably end up being the best stat line of his career.

It is frustrating to watch him struggle. Somehow his 23% from three is going to get worse after tonight it appears.

I really hope it doesn't take 3 years to realize this Killian Hayes thing isn't working.

Not to beat a dead horse but some of this is on Casey. That said, Killian has to go to the bench and be a backup. Not that we have great options on the bench to replace him but we need to do something. You still need to ultimately run the offense thru Cade and hope he figures out his turnover issue. Also hope Livers gets healthy soon. Livers and Bey are good shooters. Bey will get it going at some point. And I think Livers can help as well.

I thought Bey was going to be a really good role player though and now I am starting to wonder if he is more an average role player (like maybe a bench guy instead of a starter). Still holding out hope for him but he just looks lost right now trying to take on an increased role and that is compounded by poor shooting.

Cade continually tries to take guys off the dribble and turn the ball over. Who did everybody compare him to last summer? Luka Doncic. I can't say I watch Doncic a lot but I don't think of him as a guy who does what Cade is trying to do. Eventually, Cade is going to have to figure out that is not playing to his strengths.

This feels worse than it needs to be IMO. Bey is playing worse than I expected and I think that is a large part of the problem. I expected him to be better than last year and he has actually been worse. I think you can turn it around quick as the young core begins to click in their second/third year. So we could take a giant leap next season. But this season is definitely going to be worse than expected.

Cade will have to work hard on his strength and shooting after the season. He is just not going to beat NBA level players with his athleticism. This is not anything we didn't know going into the season. Just reiterating what we already know I guess. The court vision and passing are as advertised and that will shine more as he develops.
