    I'm convinced the pistons can trade their pick. The pick is protected 1-18 this year. So protect it 19-30 and offer it as a pick swap. The rule says you just need a first round pick, it doesn't have to be your own. So that is satisfied. Then offering the swap only if it lands 1-18, which it obviously will, gets around the protection currently on it. If a team wants a lotto pick this year is another question. The pistons will not want to trade next year's or 2026 since those classes have some big time prospects.

    Clippers would snatch Stewart up in a heartbeat. Especially with the problems Zubac has had in the playoffs staying on the floor.

    Restricted free agency is generally a bad idea. You almost always have to overpay so their current team does not match.

    The talent in this game is crazy. The #1 ranked senior, junior, and sophomore are playing. Quite a few other highly ranked guys as well.

    I saw a blurb saying the Pacers are wanting to move Buddy Hield. Thought that could be interesting for the shooting. But I looked him up and he is already 31 years old. He didn't enter the league until he was 24.

    Absolutely. But it seems unlikely a guy like Maxey would sign that type of deal. He will get a max contract which means his first year salary will be 25% of the cap. We would then be asking him to lower his salary each year while every other team would be increasing it.

    If you or I was his dad, no. Someone will grab him just because Lebron wants to play with him. Worst case you trade him to LA. Best case you get Lebron? I guess?

    Attention draft nerds. Cooper Flagg (Montverde Academy) vs AJ Dybantsa (Prolific Prep) tonight at 7:30PM on ESPN2. Those two plus the Boozer kid are considered the three best prospects currently not in the NBA regardless of class. I never imagined we would be in the Flagg mix. But after this year I don't see Detroit getting out of the lottery next season.

    There is a reason Gallo played almost all of his minutes at C this year. He doesn't have the athleticism and quickness to play PF anymore. Old and too many injuries. If anyone knocks Wiseman out of the rotation it would be Gallo.
