  1. Real strong print on retail sales this morning.
  2. I love how they think a dumb sign was the problem. Put some good food on a plate, provide good service, and I will put a sign out front with two monkeys humping and do $3 to $5 million in revenue a year. Maybe the problem is you don't make any of your own food anymore. You roll it off a Sysco truck, warm it up, and serve it. They don't even make their own biscuits anymore. How can you sell yourself as a southern comfort food place and not make your own biscuits? OK I lied, they are back to making their own biscuits. But it did stop for a few months. Maybe they are figuring things out. Cracker Barrel Just Announced Major Changes To Its Most Iconic Dish
  3. Long but good read about how much trouble the soybean farmers are in. Soybeans Without a Buyer: The Export Gap Hurting U.S. Farms
  4. It's the paint between him and the workspace for me.
  5. The original USA Today interview had this quote. So yeah, they are already positioning to get more money than other schools in the conference.
  6. Video of a man doing manual labor for the first time in his life.
  7. And this just happened. So unless something crazy happens, Cook will be voting this week as well.
  8. Cant say I have ever heard of them. I take that back. They teamed up with Pablo to do a story about Mat Ishbia and UWM. https://www.pablo.show/p/how-this-nba-owner-fleeced-america
  9. I think most teams would sign Beasley to a 1-year deal without giving it much thought. There is no risk involved with a 1-year deal. I think he wants a multi-year deal and that will require the league to clear him.
  10. He will also be a voting member.
  11. Michigan would obviously want a bigger piece as well. PSU probably could demand it too. But IMO, this would be the beginning of the end for the Big Ten. Pretty much how Texas torpedoed the Big 12.
  12. Nets just traded for Bufkin. They still have plenty of money to outbid Detroit for Beasley if they want. Detroit can offer $7.2 million If I remember correctly.
  13. I agree, less info is bad. At the end of the day I would probably pick keeping the costs in exchange for more info. But I have completely given up on the stock market so either way it won't impact me.
  14. Good info in there. I also don't think it allows for more long term planning. Management will still make decisions based off of stock performance. Stock prices are even more short term than quarterly reports.
  15. Moving about a mile west.
  16. Basically, 2/$45 million because third year is a team option. No team on earth is going to exercise that third year. It does represent some movement by GSW thought. They were offering a team option on year 2. He wants any option to be a player option. GSW has not made any moves this summer. They have to settle this before they can do anything. Most feel Al Horford will sign with them when this is finalized.
  17. That CNN article is not well done. The Tariffs are an issue for sure, but the major problem for coffee prices right now is drought. https://www.npr.org/2024/12/17/nx-s1-5228008/coffee-prices-brazil-drought-weather These are the two most imported beans in the US. Again, this is from December. Same thing with beef prices. The tariffs are contributing to a problem that was there long before they were introduced. Beef prices have been rising steadily since 2021. Drought again is a big problem, with US herd size the smallest it has been in decades. Low herd inventory ripples through U.S. beef market
  18. UCLA has fired their head coach. Sounds like Virginia Tech will do the same by the end of the day.
  19. Might as well just drop 11 into coverage at this point.
  20. Vanderbilt ATS has been a moneymaker. Results betting 1U since 2024 including 3 games this year.
