I like that Williams was listing the reasons he took the job and mentioned the money. Nothing wrong with that and I like the fact he actually mentioned it.
-
Says it will start at 4:30.

I wouldn't feel comfortable as the owner accepting the trophy before the players.

Really happy for Malone. He got screwed in Sacramento. Started his second year like 9-2. Cousins gets mono and misses a bunch of games. They lose something like 10 in a row and he gets fired.
-
The season is now over. No more trades allowed involving players.
-
I hate that. Down three with 15 seconds left and you launch an of balance step back contested three. Just dumb.

The Pelicans

That name still triggers me.

Sixers assistant coach Dan Burke ‘expected to join’ Detroit Pistons’ staff

Ish Smith is also on the Nuggets roster. I always liked him. The ultimate journeyman. I believe his second year with us was the first time he started a season with the same team he ended the previous season with. Dude still made $40M in his career.

Speaking of Luka. How did that guy go 3rd? Nobody in the past 30 years has had a more impressive pre-draft resume than Luka and he still goes 3rd.
-
Orlando must see it as a 5 person draft. Not saying I would trade from 6 to 5. Just saying them giving up the extra 1st round pick is about the right price compared to years past.
-
Moving to twelve team playoff will eliminate the need to be perfect to get into the playoffs.
-
That is a good deal for them actually. Dallas gave up #5 and the following years 1st round pick for Luka. So 6 and 11 is about right if you don't think you can get your guy at 6.
-
Problem is, #3 and possibly #4 also want to trade out. So even if the Pistons end up finding a trade partner it will be at a discount since so many want to move.
-
We wanted a tougher schedule. Known opponents in 2024 so far. Texas, USC, OSU, Wisconsin, UCLA, and MSU.

A beat writer for the Pelicans was on a podcast and said team officials are tied of Zion. Not to the point of trading him necessarily, but they have run some trade scenarios to figure out what kind of return they could get.
-
You are a lot more willing to move and cut knowing your star has no problem giving it up to you.
-
I think you are right. Boston could really use him tho.
