    Regardless if we have the pieces or not - which imo we do - why would Soto want to go from one loser of a team to another? I'm pretty sure the whole point is that he wants to go to a team that has a chance to win right now.

    He did but Shep and Jack literally did not mention it at all. Just that "George Lombard will take over as manager" while the camera caught AJ descending the steps into the clubhouse. Just the worst broadcast in the game.

    The less Tucker at this point the better for me. Would love to see Rogers return in September and make Barnhart truly expendable. Dreaming, I know.

    I've felt the same about Haase's last few at bats. Also, he's apparently stepped up vocally in the clubhouse when nobody else seemingly would. Let him go out there and try and find it again, I say.

    I hear what you're saying but this was a catchable ball that he just clearly had no interest in pushing for. It was pretty inexcusable.
