Peyton Graham may be turning a corner (or you know it could just be a small streak) but he has had a great day today (4/6 2 2B, HR and a SB) which has pushed his June totals to .342/.419/.474. Now that is only 10 games but he has been up ticking a bit since mid-May. Sure would be nice to get him going as he has true 20-20 potential.

I am guessing WM as well as he only had a couple starts there last year. Maybe a spot start in Erie if things go well.

Jobe pitching for Lakeland today: 2.2IP 3H 5K 0BB 0H 46P Still got that spin and now looks like a cutter as well. Also reached 98 on the gun.

Neck Maighton is one of the few LH hitters we have so AJ is going to keep him in the lineup. 5th is obviously too high but 6-9 aren't exactly world beaters either.

Wil Myers DFA'd. I remember some wanting us to sign him over the offseason. -

Not the most inspiring lineup. -
So say the Pirates draft Clark to save some money and the Nationals draft Skenes because they love college pitching. Who would you take Langford or Crews?
-
Bergner back in Erie to help them with their chances of taking the 1st half crown
-
Law updated his mock draft: 3. Detroit Tigers – Max Clark, OF, Franklin (Ind.) Community High This is where we could start to see some sort of shake-up; the Tigers are certainly on Crews or Skenes, and Langford as well, but I’ve heard them with Clark, Walker Jenkins, and even a little with Kyle Teel, although that last one might be more about drafting for need than going best player available (BPA).

Also Fangraphs has updated their Board as well. https://www.fangraphs.com/prospects/the-board/2023-mlb-draft

Here is a mock draft from Joe Doyle, he does a lot around prospects etc on Twitter. 3. Wyatt Langford, OF — Florida The Tigers have been out to see Virginia catcher Kyle Teel on a number of occasions, even as recently as the Super Regionals. That said, it seems as though those efforts are more of a backup plan as Tigers’ front office members are purportedly “nervous” that Langford won’t get to them at 3. General Manager Scott Harris is embarking on his first MLB Draft for the organization and it would only make sense for him to follow his analytic roots and take a hitter here. Maybe the team could entertain an under-slot move with a Tommy Troy or Matt Shaw in the event Langford is gone and Teel isn’t their cup of tea. 37. Max Anderson, 3B — Nebraska Anderson might be the most complete college hitter in the entire country aside from Crews. His contact rates against spin and velocity are both among the elite. He can handle absolutely anything. His positional value may only ever end up average, but he’s projects a solid regular who could boast an above-average hit tool with average game power when all is said and done. It remains to be seen how Scott Harris is going to attack this draft, but our bet would be he leans on analytics harder than his predecessors. https://futurestarsseries.com/mlb-draft-mock-draft-3-0-max-clark-dylan-crews-surges/

I think it has to do with the fact Erie is in first place looking to lock in a playoff spot and they want him to have the experience of playing meaningful games
-
Jung wanting to keep up with Keith has a HR and Meadows is 2/3 with a 2B
-
I think it was Edmund who said it but now I am really not expecting to see Keith before September. I am guessing Harris wants him to be eligible for the ROY incentive which requires the below: "Players qualify by meeting three criteria: (1) He must appear on a preseason Top 100 Prospects ranking by at least two of Baseball America, ESPN or MLB Pipeline. (2) He must be rookie-eligible and must have fewer than 60 days of prior MLB service. (3) He must accrue one year of MLB service as a rookie." Keith will no doubt be on those lists next year unless he drops way down in production and why waste that possibility on this season?
