  1. I will say Graham looks like his frame could add on some muscle or weight in general . That being said he leverages the hell out of what he does have. https://www.espn.com/video/clip/_/id/34250081 Also not bad when both picks are BA 1st Team All Americans
  2. And outside of Carpenter, Meadows, maybe Campos there isn't really an OF who could be considered a highly rated prospect in the system.
  3. I would agree with this. Pacheco probably shouldn't be pushed to WM quite yet and Santana and Sequeira haven't had sustained success in Lakeland. I am curious how this all works out with more MIF and playing time. I am guessing you will see an infield with Jung, Graham and Pacheco next year with Keith getting moved up to AA assuming he's healthy.
  4. I'd be happy with Parada, Jung or Collier
  5. F'in Twins
  6. Well one of the bats will be there 👀
  7. Brooks Lee which is highly unlikely but would be a fit in pretty well timeline wise.
  8. Nah, gotta hold those off until the Rule V Party
  9. Completely agree, I know everyone wants better results and quicker since they passed on Mayer but at the end of the day the kid is probably pitching from the stretch for the first time this year and could still absolutely be a top end starter.
  10. Jobe with one of his best starts yet; 5IP 6H 2ER 6K 1BB
  11. God has shined on us today. The game has been postponed.
  12. Same here even if only to give my boy Josh Crouch a try at AA.
  13. I was looking at Seattle and their glut of OF; and ran across this and I wondered how much extra Jesse Winker has to pay for turtlenecks?
  14. Agreed. I would like him and Lipcius to be moved up.
  15. Perez with a big night so far HR short of the cycle
  16. Good nights from Meadows, Perez, Campos, Cabrera
  17. Except he didn't trade Scherzer 🤷‍♂️
  18. Yikes, poor guy finally gets back and has something like that happen.
  19. Eh, it's all the fun of the lead up to the draft, with the MLB club doing as bad as this is as good a distraction as any.
  20. I was doing some quick research because I was curious on how Santana has been since his injury back in May. He came back on 6/9 and he has a slash of .280/.426/.400. The 26% K rate is not ideal obviously and a .408 BABIP is probably keeping him up a bit but a wRC+ of 148 sure is nice especially for a 18 year old in Low-A.
  21. This is not an endorsement of WWS but the guy they had on who seems to have decent credentials is saying he still thinks they take a bat at 12.
  22. The Athletic had a good write up about it but from my understanding everyone is pretty much in the same boat as us, here is a quick excerpt I found interesting. https://theathletic.com/3424956/2022/07/15/eduardo-rodriguez-tigers-contract Although it’s possible Rodriguez could return to the team, the uncertainty creates questions as the Tigers assemble their roster for the future. Jeff Fannell is one of the leading sports labor attorneys in the industry. He declined to comment on the particulars of this case for a valid reason: He works with Mato Sports Management and is advising Mato on Rodriguez. That’s an indication Rodriguez’s camp is preparing for whatever might happen next. “As you may imagine, on several levels this is a sensitive situation,” Fannell wrote in an email. This situation is more difficult to assess than most, given how little has been made public about Rodriguez’s circumstance, and how unusual it is. “I don’t remember scenarios like this,” said Ed Edmonds, a professor emeritus at Notre Dame who has done extensive research on MLB labor issues. “This seems very unique to me.” Do the Tigers even have appropriate grounds to consider voiding Rodriguez’s contract? “The short answer is it depends,” Lust said.
  23. I had to stop following him after basically realizing he brings nothing of substance and isn't like an insider or anything .
  24. Just a quick refresh on this: For July: .217/.294/391 Now we have to see is Paredes can adjust.
  25. Back just in time for when we trade Chafin, Fulmer, or Jimenez in the coming weeks.
