I expect everyone to live in reality and call things as they are and to provide facts and evidence to back up their views. While we're on the topic, can we please get a ruling as to whether the bible is to be taken literally or if it's a book of fairy tales? I know though, atheists are just big meanies and intolerant for not keeping our mouths shut and just rolling along with the absolutely absurd beliefs of other people.

The official stance is every bit as ridiculous as anything found in the bible. It's basically, "we're okay with anything regarding evolution but just remember, whatever turns out the be true, God did it"

Santos was ranting and raving on Twitter last night and calling out other members of his party. Last I checked, he had claimed he was filing ethics complaints against 4 of them come Monday. Go Santos go!

Going back through the broadcast from today on Audacy, they talk about it at 1:21pm. He's quoting from a reporter in New Orleans who was doing a story on the Sugar Bowl and who might be playing there. The reporter spoke to someone at the CFP committee. Doug then goes on to read some of the official rules that leave things a bit up in the air as to how it's actually decided.

According to 97.1 this afternoon, the belief that the #1 seed gets to choose where they play is incorrect.

Florida State might be down to their third string QB according to the news today. I could see them actually losing to Louisville if that's the case. Assuming the other favorites all win, that would put Oregon and Texas in, just not sure who would be ranked in front of who.

No he wasn't, he was clearly mocking evolution. Then after finishing his poor attempt at a joke, he returned to telling everyone it was time to eat the body and drink the blood of a zombie.

Well considering the water would evaporate within days, that's probably true wouldn't you say? Also, if you were to look at the leftover salt under a microscope, you would certainly see bacteria or other organisms, whether they be living or dead. But I get it, only an idiot would believe in evolution, the smartest among us know that a mystical dude was sweeping up his kitchen, took the dust to create Adam and then gave him CPR. Then being such a good dude, he saw that Adam was lonely so he ripped one of his ribs from his body and made Eve. Not sure why he didn't just use the dust and CPR method again but hey, god works in mysterious ways.

Religious people spew so much hate and vitriol and try to use their beliefs to control others and almost exclusively, people who hold the same beliefs keep quiet. Along comes an Atheist who calls religion a fairy tale or refers to their god as a sky wizard and suddenly they're the worst thing ever. It's not the people standing in front of an abortion clinic screaming hate, it's not the people going to school board meetings spewing hate, it's not the person standing on the corner with a bullhorn, it's not the politicians invoking religion to justify taking away rights, and it's certainly not the groups currently fighting in the Middle East, the real and only problem here is those hateful atheists. The world will be a much better place when religion is dead and forgotten.

So because I won't play along and accept ridiculous fairytales as being possible, that makes me the asshole? Sure, okay. Funny how the religious think they're free to say anything they want and judge people who don't follow their beliefs but us atheists are required to be respectful to them at all times. The hypocrisy isn't a bug, it's a feature.

Just waiting to see how long it is before some bitter Republican introduces a resolution to expel Bob Menendez. Honestly, I wouldn't even mind, the dude needs to go.
