  1. Works for every other major American sport. But..OK.
  2. Lions need to run the ball to control the clock and keep the Arizona offense off the field.
  3. Fans have been screaming about players salaries for close to 100 years. A famous quote from Babe Ruth is when he was asked if he knew he was making more that the POTUS, he said "well, I had a better year" I just want a level playing field for small market teams. The Dodgers have been in the playoffs for how many years in a row? How about Milwaukee?
  4. Maybe it would control costs for the fans? Pitchers making over a million dollars a start? Sure, just raise ticket prices. Suckers....errr...fans will pay it.
  5. I looked it up and found the formula. Let the jokes begin;
  6. So....how much coffee did Dirks drink? Jeeeeezzzz....Shut. Up.
  7. As Leyland used to say...all they needed was a crummy single to win a game. (2 days ago)
  8. Carp raising that Woba! Or is it wOBA?
  9. Use up that weak Twinkie BP.
  10. Talking about Dodo Birds getting eaten because Baltimore doesn't play aggressive enough. Okie-dokie.
  11. More runs please. Lions start in 2 hours and 21 minutes...or so. 😆
  12. Dirks is starting to get on my nerves. Shut up already.
  13. Good. Keep it kinda close so they use up their BP.
  14. Parity. Now we just need a hard salary cap in baseball. These Yankee and Dodger team just spend their way to wins.
  15. Not sure if i want a RH pitcher against all those LH bats. Who else ya got? Lol
  16. Finish the season with an 8 game winning streak and finish as the #2 1st round playoff seed. All games at Comerica. 😄
  17. Would you rather play Houston on the road or Baltimore on the road? I think if we pass both the Twins and KC, we play Baltimore?
  18. The Lions need to get used to being the hunted instead of being the hunter. Every opponent is using the Lions as a litmus test. Can the Lions contain Murray? If not, we'll lose. Hopefully, the Lions worked all week on their red zone offense. Going 1 for 7, with multiple red zone turnovers isn't a winning recipe. And maybe cover Harrison Jr.?
  19. I don't think they used combined records in tie breakers. If there was a 3 way tie, the Tigers would push Seattle out but the Twins and/or KC would push the Tigers out.
  20. Baltimore has some very good LH hitters. And LF is harder to hit home runs. Hinch probably saved Holton yesterday so he could start today. And keep throwing LH pitchers to nullify those LH bats?
  21. I did some mathing. After Friday's game, the Tigers are 25-11 since August 11th. (According to the Free Press.) I think that works out to a .694 winning %. It also works out to around 112/113 wins in a 162 game schedule.
  22. If the Tigers beat Baltimore tomorrow, I think we'll have the tie breaker against them. If we lose, it goes to the 2nd tie breaker and I have no idea who has that.
  23. Here you go;
