    Even Vierling would be a better choice leading off. My idea is to have Greene hit with runners on base so the Tigers could possibly score more runs. The best hitter on the team should be hitting 3rd or 4th, not leading off.

    I already did. Perez was on base last night. Canha was on base. Hit Perez 1st, Canha stays 2nd and Greene hits 3rd. Using your best hitter leadoff with 7 black holes in front of him means he'll never bat with RISP. But yeah, you're right, why bother changing anything? Our offense is fine. Yeah, sure...

    Why didn't Jim Leyland use Cabrera as his leadoff hitter? He was the Tigers best hitter. Didn't he want to get him an extra 3 at bats per week? I don't care who they replace Greene with at the top of the order, he has 6 or 7 black holes in front of him. One hit from the bottom of the lineup and 10 runners left on base!!

    Switch Perez and Greene. Let Greene hit with runners on base. Score runs. It's not really that complicated.

    It sure would have been nice if Greene batted with guys on base. Getting 3 hits is pretty good, it would be better with runners in scoring position. No wonder the Tigers can't score any runs, our manager is either too stupid or too stubborn to fill out a lineup card.

    His antics on the sidelines. You're correct, he's not a good fit on a MCDC team. And it a bad sign when a "talented" player goes from team to team every season. It seems like teams would want to keep a WR who is supposed to be so good. Keep him, Miami is the perfect place for him.

    Lmao...yeah, I meant youtubeTV has the NFL Sunday Ticket...a brain fart. I may get it this year, they just sent me an email with a "special" offer. $179 for Sunday Ticket or $219 for Sunday Ticket+RedZone. I've never had either so I have to read opinions.

    It's why the experiment ended. The kid is a weapon on the bases but at the top of the order, he was a bust. Even at the bottom of the order, he doesn't get on base. Having Riley get so many hits with the bases empty is a waste. The better Greene does, the less I like him batting first with so many black holes in front of him.

    My brother has Hulu live and loves it. Does Comcast still limit the data on their internet? It used to be 2 GB per month. I'm not sure how much data streaming uses per hour. I've heard 4k TVs use much more data. And I think Yahoo now has the Sunday Ticket...I may get it next season.

    Yeah, it didn't work out for Meadows. My only point is that IF he was getting on base, the Tigers would be a much better offensive team. It looks like Hinch tried him at leadoff for the first couple of weeks, up until the Pittsburgh series. It just didn't work out...

    But that spot would be Urshela. Unless they send Meadows down when they activate him. But yeah, I agree we would need a 1st baseman. But....Tork ain't going nowhere.

    Canha played first base but didn't Ibanez play there a few times? We gotta have somebody who can, the way Hinch has guys that can play multiple positions. Long term, maybe not. But for a couple of weeks, maybe?

    Google takes money for putting places in front. I don't like it when the first few links are YouTube videos. Sometimes I just want to read something and not hear someone bugging you to "like" this video and "subscribe" to them. Long winded know it all's....
