    They better give folks a big monthly credit. I ditched Xfinity last fall and went with WOW as my internet, Yahoo TV, Hulu, Amazon Prime and the Bally app. All for half what I was paying per month to Commiecast. I miss the Comcast box and UI but not at that cost.

    Yup. I remember last year, we all knew if he kept hitting the ball so hard, he was going to have success. Hated to see him making outs when he was crushing the ball but we knew what was coming. This year, he just looks lost at the plate.

    This reminds me of my nephew in San Francisco. He asked his mom (my sis in law)..."Mom, there's a town in Michigan called Bad Ass, isn't there?" Yeah, he meant Bad Axe. 🤣🤣

    Whatever he's doing, he's doing wrong. Not using his legs? Did he learn anything from Miggy? Cabrera was just a shell of himself once his legs started betraying him. Hitters need a good foundation to drive the ball.

    Forget that working the count stuff. I saw him take a juicy fastball at the middle of the plate yesterday. He's a mess at the plate right now. Thinking top much. See ball, hit ball...simplify.

    Did he hit any of his home runs last year to the opposite field? It seems like he has plenty of power to hit them out. Miggy should gave taught him. 😁

    It sounds like he'll get the chance to. Hinch sounds like he's sticking with him for the duration. He had an interview that aired during the game. Better hope he starts hitting for power because he's our 1st baseman.

    Well, Goff is under contract for 2024 so if we did franchise him, it would be for next year. So we could have him for 2 more seasons. But we'll extend him so that is all irrelevant. If Holmes and the coaches thought we could get the same production from someone for much less, they probably would. But with the fans chant Goff's name, it would be extremely unpopular.

    Other available receivers; Odell Beckham...Russell Gage...Michael Gallup. No to Beckham...too much baggage. I don't know the other 2.

    Just a beginner. As he gets more experience, he should get better. Is he that kid we signed when he was 15 years old or something? Another Al Avila gem!

    Not being able to beat the A.L. East last year cost us a chance to win the division. We beat Tampa 2 out of 3 on the road so keep winning on the road and we may see the playoffs this fall. Just get in and anything can happen. Or...so I've heard. Lol

    I have the Bally app and it's also a few pitches behind. Sometimes, during tense moments, I'll open the MLB app and see what's about to happen.

    But isn't that assuming your #7, 8, and 9 hitters are at least league average? The lower part of the Tiger lineup is really struggling.

    Sure, a WR coming to town would be a #3 WR. But don't discount the possibility of injuries. As well as asking Jaymo to step up and be a #2 receiver. This team has Super Bown aspirations so we need to have as much offensive power as we can. And...I hear we may have a very tough schedule.

    3 at Yankees followed by 3 in Cleveland. Kinda makes this game a must win.

    Asking for a lot of solo home runs. I wonder how many of his 7 home runs have been solo? I get it, we need runners on base but having him in the leadoff spot seems like a waste. Who else do we have? I think Hinch's choices are very limited.

    I really don't like Riley leading off. Not because of the 1st inning, but later in the game. Look who hits before him, there's a very good chance he'll be batting the entire game with nobody on base. Seems like a bit of a waste.

    How about Keith? That contract may be the only reason he's still on the team. If everyone was hitting, we could carry him. But with so many struggling, can we carry his weak offense? Scott Sizemore 2.0.

    Maybe we won't see Riley leading off any more? He's more valuable with runners on base. And with our weak 6, 7, 8 and 9 hitters, the bases are usually empty when he's up. Move Tork down to 7, if he has to play. Better yet, use Canha at 1st base and sit Tork. It would be a case of addition by subtraction.
