I don't want to see him fired. He may not be the best bet for a rebuilding team but I don't think it really matters. I would be surprised if he doesn't quit though, I wouldn't blame him.
Tigers may need a modern day Ralph Houk. Yes, Hinch can win with all stars at every position but is he the guy for a rebuilding team? I like Hinch and think he's an above average manager but the Tiger organization lacks talented players. And this last off-season was very underwhelming. Trading away our bullpen for AAA players....ugh. 0-6 home opener?
Love the hitters approach. Make the pitches throw a lot of pitches. They end in strikeouts but big picture...he'll be out of the game by the 8th inning. 🤔
Craig loves the early season Tiger hitter approach. Is he aware we've scored a total of 2 runs so far, averaging 1 run per game? Yeah, great approach Craig.
Harris trading for AAA players was a great move. Saves all kinds of money. It will be better once Cabrera comes off the books next season. Maybe we will trade any player for a AAA relief pitcher. Detroit sports really sucks, except for the Lions. Ugh...
Well, it's not for a message board or social media to decide if the Lions should draft him or not. What do we actually know? I'm not ready to call the kid a bust even before the draft.
Let Holmes do his job, I kinda agree with his judgment.
Hearing all of the negatives about Carter is alarming but we're talking big money. Certain factions start rumors that may not be true. He got winded at the combine? He may have been sick. We just don't know the truth. Holmes and Campbell will do their job and feel comfortable with whoever they pick.
I don't want any part of Carter. Some people never mature and past legal issues are a HUGE bad sign. Coming to the combine out of shape is another sign of of immaturity. Hard pass, let someone else take that chance. Plenty of other great players at #6.
