  1. EVs? What's that?
  2. #2 pick in 2019.
  3. He's hit at every level. Struggling his first couple of months was somewhat predictable. It really wouldn't surprise me if he finishes close to .300 by the end of the year.
  4. That been apparent all season. The entire team was slumping. I never liked the approach of working the count. If there's a good pitch to hit, hit the damn thing.
  5. He's under team control thru 2026. So no, if he does get moved, it will be at the trade deadline in '26. Arms like his don't come around very often. It would have to be a great package to get him before that, IMO.
  6. That's a pretty bold prediction. He hit 20 after the ASB last season, his best 3 months as a pro. It would be nice if he develops into a consistent threat at the plate. He may have been rushed to the majors, that has stunted many players thru the years.
  7. Meh...it happens. Sometimes decent pitchers don't make it out of the 1st inning...but, yeah, it sucks.
  8. He's not a position player who plays everyday. A player like Tork has a much shorter leash, or he should have. With his limited abilities, hitting one home run a month won't keep him in the old English D.
  9. With our offense, this game looks over. I hope Skubal shuts them out tomorrow afternoon.
  10. When he was drafted, some people said he had a ceiling as a #1 SP. There's nothing wrong with his ceiling being a #3 SP. If he is a #3, it means we have a very good staff. The 2024 Tigers weakness is our offense. Waiting on more kids so we can evaluate them. And yes, patience.
  11. I think Jobe is closer than that. If he can get and stay healthy, it wouldn't surprise me if he gets a September callup.
  12. What did he miss? A yeah and a half? Sometimes it takes awhile to come back from surgeries.
  13. They moved him to the OF this spring. https://sports.yahoo.com/detroit-tigers-move-prospect-wenceel-111106175.html
  14. I think we signed him when he was 16 years old? He only started playing the OF this spring
  15. Gotta hit his way out of it. Very common for a young hitter. What matters is how long his slump lasts. The better hitters limit the slump length.
  16. Edmonton winning so easily on the road is a shocker. Vancouver being totally outplayed going into the 3rd.
  17. I know what he means by the leg going numb. It happened to me once. Feeling comes back in a couple minutes but it's freaky.
  18. Did they say what the injury is?
  19. It didn't take much for him to pass up Javy.
  20. Game 7's can be very exciting.
  21. It was. Nervous pitching in his hometown? Using hindsight, Hinch screwed the pooch.
  22. I would have thought Briske was stretched out to throw more than 22 pitches. Did Hinch look for the worst pitcher in his bullpen? Why? Over-managing.
  23. And you're wrong, again. 😆
  24. Thanks for the reminder. Tigers are unwatchable when they play like this. Game 7 of a hockey playoff game may be exciting.
