Remember that time Tiger fans thought Al Avila made a great trade getting Meadows from Tampa? No speed, not an elite defender, but he has power. Or he did...for Tampa. For Detroit? Not so much. May as well release him now, he brings nothing to the table. Ryan Raburn, Dirks and Bosch all had better Tiger career numbers that Austin....we should have known we were getting ripped off. It was an Avila trade after all.

And with 2 strikes on him. Many hitters, if not most, shorten up their swing to make contact with 2 strikes on them. Not Javy, he swings wildly.

If Tork goes down, H. Castro would be the best bet at 1st. He's our best bat at the moment. But Tork isn't going anywhere.

And the pitching has performed amazingly.

When Candy gets back, I would rather see HCastro over there. He's been our most consistent hitter. But I don’t think Tork is going anywhere.
