So Tork and Javy are hitting in ST. If they make the team, how long of a leash do they get? We need good RH bats in the lineup but we don't need a couple of guys hitting .150 with no power.

I don't agree. Winning a division should get a team a playoff spot. Should it be a home game? No, I could see that change. Re-seed all teams before the playoffs, the teams with the better records should all have a home playoff game.

The two rule changes i would love to see are; Delay of game procedure. Make it more like the NBA, a strict clock-hitting-zero rule. Tush push rule. I'm not sure how to change it but pushing players from behind should be stopped before someone gets seriously hurt.

I hear Riley was diving for a ball in CF yesterday. In an exhibition game! So Hinch pulled him out of the game. Sometimes he needs to protect players from themselves

I worry about KC more than I do Cleveland. The Twins or WSox? Not so much. But it looks like the Tigers have a very good pitching staff. The experience the BP guys got last year is a real advantage. But 2 regulars missing to start the season and 3 or 4 players playing out of position (or Keith, learning a new position) is a bit scary.

This Tiger team would be that much better with an effective Tork. We need his RH bat hitting for power. But, the biggest problem, IMO, is the loss of Meadows. The Tigers were 54-28 with him in the line-up in 2024. Replacing his defense isn't possible.

Trump made a campaign promise, several times, to stop the Russian invasion of Ukraine with one phone call before even taking office. I just heard an interview where he denies saying that and if he DID say it, he was being sarcastic. Just more Trump lies, nothing new.

Yup...Greene won't be playing CF. Even though he's our best option and we have several players who can fill in at LF. Okie-dokie.

I just saw this. No, no way. We have outfielders to play the outfield. This has disaster spelled all over it. Using players out of position isn't the formula of a winning team. Just....no.

Back in those days, 16 out of 21 teams made the playoffs. Missing them so many times wasn't easy to do. Our current playoff drought may be longer now but those were some really dark hockey years.
