    what a weird off season its been. Pistons going away from what made them succesful, the fanbase almost unilaterally wishing an all start from last year is not paid, but resigned to the fact that he will be over paid. Just a strange feeling about this entire off season so far.

    JBs post game presser was the epotime of "just happy to be here". Sorry, you can't even say you're dissapointed after getting blown out at home in a game 7? and scolding the reporter for even thinking about asking if you're dissapointed. Gross.

    Could be a chicken/egg thing. Franchises that don't tolerate prolonged mediocrity tend to not be mediocre as long as teams that are ok with spending a decade in no mans land. Compare the Vegas Knights firing their coach with 10 games left in the season just few years after bringing them a Cup to the Wings wading along for the better part of a decade doing basically nothing and showing little urgency about it.
