    Just play Riley in CF until Vierling is back. Use McKinstry as the defensive replacement and move Riley to the corner if we pinch hit for Malloy/Carp/Margot. Just go Sweeney/Ibanez platoon at 3B, give Javy an honest look every day at SS, Torres at 2B and Keith and Tork at 1B and DH respectively.

    I’d much rather see them embrace the orange for a city connect. The blue and black doesn’t really feel like tigers or Detroit to me. like do an orange jersey with tiger stripes and have the stripes be tire marks if you want to go motor city kitties or something. or lean heavily into the cocaine tiger from the 80s

    I’m assuming Wenceel, but Malloy and Tork get kind of redundant and add nothing defensively—so perhaps Malloy. i could see Malloy starting in Toledo until Vierling is healthy and then us releasing Margot and swapping Perez for Malloy at that point unless Wenceel is off to a fast start. That way we aren’t crippling ourselves defensively in the outfield.
