  1. I'm sure he would. Then they can watch him fail, or perhaps cure whatever it is that ails him.
  2. People, including the front office and ownership of this team let the fact we were in the playoffs the last 2 years cloud their judgment. Harris has tinkered around the edges rather than making bigger moves. It's time to start chopping deeper, and seeing what some others can do.
  3. Might as well find out. They need to be savage with a few cuts. Make failure have consequences.
  4. I still think its a leadership issue in the clubhouse. There is no dog in there to motivate them and/or to call people out.
  5. My son is sitting in RF, he couldn't believe Weceel botched that. I had to break the news to him. When Riley Greene is your best defensive OF you're in trouble
  6. And Vest beyond pitching sabotaged himself by touching that ground out.
  7. Thanks to Wenceel for those
  8. I wouldn't rule out the Mariners. It might be attractive for the Pirates in that they can make a run at a title with a very short term monetary commitment.
  9. Hopefully Glyber gets healthy so we can get a bag of balls for him at the deadline too. Opens up the position for someone.
  10. So he'll do well vs Boston.
  11. Lol...shouldn't he do that?
  12. https://www.foxnews.com/outkick-sports/mlb-reporters-predict-dodgers-could-land-two-time-cy-young-winner-tarik-skubal-blockbuster-trade Robert Murray, another MLB reporter, then added "(Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew) Friedman could go out and get him. He ups a team's chances to win the World Series by a pretty big margin. You get two starts in that five-game series. Friedman gets him, that’s my prediction." Outfielders Josue De Paula, Zyhir Hope, Eduardo Quintero, and Mike Sirota are all top prospects. James Tibbs III has hit 11 home runs in 48 games in AAA with a .316/.424/.599 batting line. Alex Freeland has already shown flashes of being an above average player in the big leagues. Emil Morales has a .955 OPS in single-A as a shortstop. And Charles Davalan has looked impressive in high-A.
  13. Dingler sets up a possible save to be blown.
  14. "When healthy, Seabold has been pretty effective coming out of the pen, with a 3.45 ERA, 20.3% strikeout rate, and 7.2% walk rate over 15 2/3 innings."
  15. If it were the Dodgers making the trade I believe that's how they would view it. Other teams might talk themselves into that view. That is why I think the prospect haul if we trade Skubal will be better than some here believe.
  16. Einstein being stubborn to prove he's right. They should have DFA'd him and kept Seaboold
  17. So Short can bat in these situations: J. Rogers: Ball, Ball, Strike looking, Strike looking, Ball, Ball, Rogers walked, Vierling to third, Torkelson to second Dietrich Enns relieved Keegan Akin Z. Short: Strike looking, Strike swinging, Short flied out to deep right
  18. We'll see but I think we'll get more than that without an extension. Clark is supposedly the #4 prospect according to ESPN. Would you trade him for a WS title? I think most would.
  19. Good thing we signed Jansen. Pitchers with 4 blown saves before June and a 5+ ERA aren't easy to find.
  20. I'm so tired of the Tigers signing these overpriced old relievers then riding them into hell.
  21. Is it legal to have 2 Josues on your team?
  22. That pitch was grooved.
