I said in another thread earlier today that I would have been at least somewhat relieved if we did not win tonight and tomorrow, we back into the playoffs with an Astros loss tonight, and then lose 2-0 in the ALWC series, because I would have much, much preferred that to losing out on the playoffs entirely. But charging into the playoffs with a win on the field—I am more than merely relieved. I am STOKED!

I'm totally on board with selling Riley high to get multiple multiple above average big league players. I think everyone would be on board with that. Speaking only for myself, what I am not on board with is selling low for whatever big league players we can get for Riley because we hate that he doesn't shorten up his swing with two strikes.

One could also say Harris is focused enough on his long-term plan that he refuses to throw it all away to shift his focus to win this year or bust.
