    Yeah, it makes more sense to run Fulmer out there than Chafin.

    Double off the wall notwithstanding, Jimienez has proved that he’s worth someone’s numbered position player prospect. Next up for the eighth: either Chafin or Fulmer. Chafin is already looking great, so maybe they’ll want to give Fulmer a chance for a dominant inning.

    He might slip through waivers and stick around, but he’s organizational soldier material at this point. Wouldn’t it be a gas to see Tampa claim him, though?

    I don’t think we see both of them because they’ll want to give Soto a chance to pitch a clean ninth to impress the potential adopting parents.

    Maybe they are going to try to showcase some relievers here. If that’s the case, then I’m thinking Jimenez in the seventh, Chafin in the eighth, Soto in the ninth.

    I saw plenty of Tucker Barnhart when he came to Wrigley Field with the Reds. That was enough for me.
