The same reason they can't afford a second top-5 edge applies to WR, IMO, and of all the guys you mentioned above, Jamo is the most expendable. In fact, I wouldn't be shocked if LaPorta or Gibbs don't get extended, either. Obviously, circumstances like injuries can change things, but there's only so much finagling of the cap you can do, even with it constantly expanding, because salaries expand along with the cap.
