I was following this game and feeling glum and my son said “let’s watch episode five of FALLOUT on Prime” and we did and it was great and I missed these two innings. I’m happy this happened though; it’s nice scoring runs like a normal team.

Can you place bets anywhere on when this Skenes guy blows out his arm? I know it’s unethical to do this, but I’m just wondering if it’s legal because lots of unethical things are legal. I’m not wishing ill on him. It’s just that there aren’t many human bodies made to endure this kind of punishment and injury seems inevitable.

I saw a game at Chase a few years ago. It was hot in September and 100° but they still opened the roof and it stayed cool. Kind of sterile like a mall, but a really great mall. Wide concourses with ample elbow room, so clean you could eat off the floor, great food, terrific staff. Every step of the way, parking lot, ticket booth, hostesses, just top flight.

This sucks but what was really painful was back in the day when we had a future Hall of Fame hitter and a lineup filled with all stars who were befuddled when a AAA rookie came up and they couldn’t hit him because they had “never seen his stuff.“
