  1. Per Harris: “I hope that I've demonstrated here that we're focused on winning baseball games and trying to win a World Series, not winters or deadlines,” Harris said earlier this month. “Sometimes that means that we're going to go into a winter and we're going to chase the flashiest name, and we're going to offer a lot of money. And sometimes that means we're going to go into a winter and focus on more targeted needs. I don't know exactly what this winter is going to be.” I don’t think I actually believe he’s uncertain about what he wants to do except for the goal of winning the World Series. But of course he’s not going to be open about it.
  2. This makes a lot of sense.
  3. A few minutes ago, I did a quick search of “Skubal” and according to THE TIMES OF INDIA the Atlanta Braves are devising a trade to get Skubal, but they’re not offering anything in return. Probably a bad deal.
  4. Win. I hate how I get sucked into something as lame as giving a crap about another team, but it happened again. At least I don’t feel betrayed.
  5. It was cool to see Koufax and Magic Johnson together.
  6. Guess this is not a moral dilemma I have to face.
  7. It would be wrong to root for more runs. It would be like dancing on someone’s grave. But if the Blue Jays score more runs in the top of the ninth, I won’t celebrate, but I won’t hang my head either.
  8. I am Idaho Bert and I approve this message.
  9. Six runs. My work is done here.
  10. Trey Yesavage! Wow!
  11. This is a long time for Yesavage to sit.
  12. 5-1. Bo Bichette singles on a line drive to right fielder Teoscar Hernández. Andrés Giménez scores. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. to 3rd.
  13. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. walks. Addison Barger scores. Andrés Giménez to 2nd. Passed ball by catcher Will Smith. 4-1 Jays
  14. Vlad coming up with 2 on and two out in the top of the seventh. This is pretty exciting.
  15. Yesavage is not afraid to pitch to Ohtani, but that diving catch in right pretty much saved him there
  16. Yesavage get his 10th K in five innings of work.
  17. Yesavage just decided to hit Freeman to keep them guessing.
  18. I hate in-game dugout interviews, which I presume is the kind of thing that tickles the hearts of casual fans. Grrrr
  19. Ernie Clement out on a sacrifice fly to center fielder Enrique Hernández. Daulton Varsho scores. 3-1 Toronto.
  20. Daulton Varsho triples Yes!
  21. And streak ends as Enrique Hernández homers (1) on a fly ball to left field.
  22. 5 Ks in a row for Yesavage
  23. I’m in the mood for some add on runs by the Blue Jays.
  24. Trey Yesavage strikes out the side in the bottom of the 2nd
  25. Alejandro Kirk at 5‘8“ and 245 pounds looks like a spark plug. He does not “look like a baseball player“
