lordstanley Posted March 8 Author Posted March 8 (edited) The LA Kings outshot the Habs 16-1 in the 1st period but only managed one goal. Sure enough the Habs tie it up 1-1 early in the 2nd. Edited March 8 by lordstanley Quote
lordstanley Posted March 8 Author Posted March 8 Columbus was trailing Utah by 2 with under 7 minutes to go, but 2 goals in 30 seconds has tied the game at 4. Quote
lordstanley Posted March 8 Author Posted March 8 Habs down 3-2 with under 6 minutes to go. You can guess what happens. 2 goals less than a minute apart and it’s 4-3 Habs with under 4 minutes to go. Quote
lordstanley Posted March 8 Author Posted March 8 The Atlantic’s #1 Tampa, #2 Buffalo, #4 Montreal and #5 Boston all win. Of course. Quote

lordstanley Posted March 8 Author Posted March 8 The Wings have gone 3-5-2 for 8 points in the past 10 games. Florida, with 6 points, is the only team in the East with fewer points than that in the past 10. Over the past 10 games the Wings have lost ground to everyone in the playoff mix including 4 points on Tampa, 7 points on Buffalo, 7 points on Montreal, 9 points on Carolina, 3 points on Pittsburgh, 4 points on NYI, 5 points on Boston, 8 points on Columbus, 8 points on Ottawa, 4 points on Philadelphia and 4 points on Washington. Even in the West, only LA (with 7 points), Chicago (with 6 points) and Vancouver (with 7 points) have fewer points than the Wings over the past 10. Quote

Of course. #6 Ottawa also wins. They're just 6 points back of the Wings with a game in hand. Keep in mind the 4th place Wings can not make the playoffs as a 6th place team, even if only two Metro teams finish ahead of them. Quote
