Archie Posted May 18 Posted May 18 That VSC screwed up the race for some of the team and us watching too. Max, Lewis and a couple others really benefited from it for staying out. If it wasn’t for the SC Max would have been long gone. Luck is sometimes a big part of racing so take it when you can get it. I didn’t hear why Charles and Oscar stayed out but I think Charles would have finished higher with some new tires and Oscar might have done better too. Max had them covered today. Quote

Hongbit Posted May 24 Author Posted May 24 The race for the first turn will be great. After that it’s pretty much waiting on how Ferrari will **** itself for any excitement. Quote

Deleterious Posted May 24 Posted May 24 They mentioned an amazing stat during qualifying. Since 1985 in dry races, nobody has won at Monaco that started from outside the top 3. Quote
Hongbit Posted May 25 Author Posted May 25 Amazingly, they have somehow found a way to make this race more boring. Quote
Deleterious Posted May 25 Posted May 25 It will never go away and there is no obvious way to fix it. Quote
Hongbit Posted May 25 Author Posted May 25 (edited) There’s an area right after the tunnel after the chicane. The regular street is broken in half by a small median with trees. It got me wondering that if the city were to remove that area and widen the street, it would be possible to remove the chicane entirely and create a long straight away where you could pass and also take advantage of DRS. Deleterious Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Final lap of Q3 and Piastri goes purple/purple/purple to take pole. I wonder if Red Bull is regretting pulling Yuki up. Quote
Deleterious Posted June 1 Posted June 1 I assume their reserve driver will step in? Or will they just run one car tomorrow? Quote
Toddwert Posted June 1 Posted June 1 (edited) Max seems to have a meltdown during the last 5 laps looks like he gets mad and rams Russell... Oscar and Lando 1 and 2 and Charles 3rd https://www.espn.com/f1/story/_/id/45420439/spanish-gp-oscar-piastri-holds-lando-norris-win-max-verstappen-loses-cool Edited June 1 by Toddwert Quote
Deleterious Posted June 1 Posted June 1 That was pure bush league from Max. You can hurt/kill someone doing that crap. He 100% did it on purpose and should miss a race IMO. Quote
Deleterious Posted June 1 Posted June 1 (edited) There is only one word to describe how Ferrari ended up on the podium. Edited June 1 by Deleterious Quote
Deleterious Posted June 1 Posted June 1 Max did get a 10-second penalty, which dropped him to 10th. New constructor standings. Quote

Deleterious Posted June 4 Posted June 4 Starting to wonder about Cadillac. Announcing sponsors but they don't have a dedicated website yet. The social media the list is not F1 specific. Those should have been up and running weeks ago. Quote
Deleterious Posted June 5 Posted June 5 I think its pretty cool that McLaren includes the teams 2nd best driver in its social media posts. Quote
Deleterious Posted Tuesday at 05:05 AM Posted Tuesday at 05:05 AM (edited) Miami same day as the Kentucky Derby again. Edited Tuesday at 05:05 AM by Deleterious Quote
Hongbit Posted Tuesday at 01:17 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 01:17 PM (edited) Monaco getting moved back after Indy means will never have to hear that lie about the greatest race day of the year. On the topic of Indy, F1 will spend the month of May in America. Do you think Zak would be crazy enough to try and run either Lando or Oscar in Indy? Will any other driver want to take a shot at it? It’s so different that I can’t imagine but it would make incredible marketing and we know how much F1 loves that. Edited Tuesday at 01:21 PM by Hongbit Quote
