Well-deserved tying goal by the  Wings late in the 1st. Edvinsson’s 6th. The Wings have had most of the chances.  Toronto 1 Detroit 1 after 1.

1-1 after one in Toronto.  Leafs scored before I had the game on, Wings tied it up with less than a minute left.  Seider and Raymond combined to get out of their zone after a faceoff, nice rush ended up in a Raymond to Edvinsson goal.

Don’t know what was more feeble - the Wings’ power play or Laughton’s penalty shot attempt. Still 1-1.

Wings outshooting Toronto 12-2 in the 3rd period as they try to break the tie and get a 4-0 season series sweep.

at one end, the leafs crush seider in the detroit zone, back to the other end and rasmussen gently glides with the leaf defender behind the net.

detroit dominates ot.  seider manhandles the leafs defender, gives to larkin for the game winner.

one thing i know for sure, detroit is a better team than toronto.  

when detroit's first two forward lines are on the ice, i feel pretty confident.  when seider/ed are on, i feel pretty confident.

when i see our bottom pair on the ice, i get very very nervous.

panarin doesnt really fit for them right now.  do they need another small, skilled forward when you already have kane, debrincat, and raymond?

kadri too, and i dont want to touch that contract.

petersson has been discussed to death.  i'm not giving up much of anything of real value for that contract.

hamilton makes more sense as a second pair defenseman.  they can absorb the contract without any retention.  not sure if jersey will actually move him with hughes being hurt, or that they would move him to an eastern conference team.

unfortunately i could see them get stamkos just because of yzerman's relationship with him.  although stevie holds grudges and might be mad that stamkos turned them down a few years ago (blessing in disguise).

out of all the players they mentioned, stamkos or hamilton are probably the most likely to come here.  that said, if they do make a move, i bet its for faulk or a depth defenseman that wont cost them a #1 pick.
