Deleterious Posted June 30 Posted June 30 Starting it a bit early since teams can start meeting with players in 12 hours or so. Quote
NorthWoods Posted June 30 Posted June 30 Kevin O'Connor@KevinOConnor13h Sabonis is a terrible fit with Cade. Shaky shooter, not a lob threat, plays zero defense. Would be a huge step back for the Pistons. A travesty of an offseason for Detroit if this happens. Quote
Deleterious Posted June 30 Author Posted June 30 I don't view it as a serious possibility. Just something Detroit will stick in their back pocket in case negotiations break down. If it did happen, I would guess it happens the end of July or sometime in August. When they are still far apart and the threat of him signing the qualifying offer is real. Detroit circles back to Sacramento and salvages something out of it. Quote
Deleterious Posted June 30 Author Posted June 30 He grew up in LA so signing an offer sheet there makes sense. Quote
Deleterious Posted June 30 Author Posted June 30 If I'm a 3 and D type player, it would be hard to leave someone like Jokic. In fact, if I was that type of player the two places I would want to play the most would be Denver and Detroit. Playing with guys who draw so much defensive attention is a big plus for a 3 and D type. Just play some defense, stand in the corner, let Jokic and Cade make you millions. 1 Quote
Deleterious Posted June 30 Author Posted June 30 Windhorst was on TV this morning and said the Clippers and Raptors have agreed to player compensation in the Kawhi trade. All that is left is to figure out draft picks. He said there is a good chance it happens today. Quote
Shinzaki Posted June 30 Posted June 30 DR was our best 3 pt shooter last year...Huerter looked wash as a 3 threat. Why are we looking at releasing DR while resigning Huerter? Quote
