  1. Anybody know why I'm blacked out in Minnesota? I can watch all the other games that are live
  2. I'm a bit confused by the limited pick off attempts rule. Does that mean if you hit the limit the runner can just go wild because he knows you can't throw over? I'm sure it's more complicated than that
  3. What do you think is chaffin's asking price, 3/27? And what do you think he'll go for, 2/18?
  4. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2023/01/tigers-sign-andrew-knapp-catcher-minors.html Here's something to talk about
  5. I guess it may help you see where the expected holes are
  6. https://archive.seattletimes.com/archive/?date=20020815&slug=albeat15 Sounds Ike an ex-fiance, unsure of profession. A simple Google search is all the effort I'm willing to put into this
  7. What is he supposed to do? He's inherited an organization that is the genesis of that formula. Even if he intends to change it, how much can be done in a year? They have hardly any areas of strength to trade from aside from a few prospects. Maybe trade away Jobe for someone closer to mlb ready but otherwise I don't see the point in trading a way prospects to turn a 66 win team into a 72 win team. What kind of trades do you think they should make? They need to build talent and value from somewhere and since they aren't a current player for free agents they have to be scrappy on the waiver wire, draft, develop and make smart trades of players when they are at their peak value (I'm sure you've noticed there aren't too many players on the current roster that fall into that category). I'll withhold my frustration for a later date and let Harris have at least a year before I call for his head
  8. In the end, he beat the tigers offer and total value of lindor's contract
  9. Depends on how many at bats are available in Detroit which obviously depends on which FA they sign, but I'll guess a September call up. He'll have to impress in spring training and tear up the AA/AAA like he did lower levels last year for it to be much quicker.
  10. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2022/12/mets-to-sign-justin-verlander.html Back with max, only costing the Mets $86M a year combined
